Sure... Jobs are to be had.

I think others have a more inside track though.

It's possible but he's really going to have to work his *********** off this offseason. Guys like de Haan and Donovan will be the favorites without a doubt, and depending on who they sign, as well as who they draft, there might end up being just one open spot for these guys to fight for.

If he does win the job though I'll give him props. That is a lot of talent he will have to beat out.

Ness has been a pleasant surprise, he's gotta a shot, but I like Donovan's upside and de Haan seems to have a calm demeanor. Ness will get better, he has had a solid D partner in Landry and they really complement each other pretty well.

What's his cap hit? (That's all that really matters.)

Let's not turn this thread into that!!!

From the little we saw of him he did look okay. I think he will get a long, hard look at training camp.

i Really liked the way Ness played when he was called up. I would love to see him given a shot to be a regular, lord knows we wont bring in any veteran Dmen.

I'm sure they'll give him a legitimate look during training camp. How could they not they called him up to play in the NHL already and he didn't look lost out there. I think really the only given spots on defense are Streit A-Mac and Hammer so Ness/De Haan/Donovan will all probably be given a shot to make it.

I may be giving Snow too much credit ,but I expect he will bring in 2 vets and 2 of the kids from Bridgeport.

Nope. Sorry, he'll bea career AHLer call up type guy. Donovan by playign so amazing this year in Bridgeport and impressing in 2 games so far definitley puts him in the lead for one of teh spots on our D if any of the young guys are gonna make it.

Streit, Hamonic, MacDonald, Donovan, free agent/free agent/trade acquisition/draft pick

I think the decision, over which of the Bridgeport defensemen makes isles roster, will be made in training camp.

Ness looked fine during his brief call up.All three youngsters(De Haan,Donovan and Ness),played well.
