I guess the team hasn't done well with them on however, might be a bad idea.
I'd like to see the them rock them though. Chances aren't too high we'll get past Boston, might as well look good if we're going to get bumped.
Or look good if we pull out a major upset!
I may be totally making this up in my mind, but for some reason I remember that teams are only permitted to wear their primary home and away jerseys for playoff games.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when the Kings current home jerseys were first introduced, it was as an alternate. They were used in the playoffs as the home jersey that same season.

You are correct. I think the right format is that a team can only wear one uniform for each home and away during the playoffs, not a 3rd one. So the Senators can pick between the regular or Heritage. I'm pretty sure they'll go with the regular as per the side images on their website.

Haha I'll yield to you there as I don't really remember.
Semi off-topic, but I wish teams would go back to wearing white at home and colours on the road. Especially when teams do the whole white towel thing (which the Sens better be doing this year, BTW), it's much more of a white-out effect when the home team is also wearing their whites.

I find most teams have a colour as the colour they are known as (instead of white), so I like it this way
