The cubs actually put him through waivers again in order to send him to AAA. Nobody picked him up.

Maybe Theo's doing what AA does, acquiring as many assets as possible

All I'm saying is I think they could've used him on their big club, he impressed me in spring training, and with the way the Cubs are I'm kind of surprised at the move.

The more I look at the Red Sox team, the more I think the Jays have a very good chance of finishing ahead of them.

I agree, I think they have some serious holes.

Worth noting....

Hech played 2B for 8 of 9 innings last night with McCoy playing SS before moving to LF.

I wonder if they talked to Esco about moving to 2B and they know he's opposed.

I was looking for tickets for the home opener but it looks like its sold out. Do Jays release game day tickets? If so, what time do they usually get released?

Also, I haven't been to a game since I was in elementary school. How are the seats in the outfield compared to along the foul lines?

Does anyone know why Snider didn't play for Las Vegas yesterday, and isn't playing today?

Maybe I interpreted it in a different way, but from what AA said, it sounds like they're prepping Hech for 2B for emergency purposes during the regular season.

I wouldn't mind that, but you'd have to assume that MacGowan's return will mitigate these problems somewhat.

I wish I could go to tomorrow's opener....if I did I'd be the jerk dangling a bucket of KFC on a fishing line over the RedSox dugout or bullpen

Maybe I'm being a bit of a homer, but I think predict the AL East will finish as TB, NYY, TOR, BOS, BAL with us getting the WC over ANA.

don't forget a 6 pack of Coors and an xbox controller, just to be able to switch it up every couple of innings and keep them on their toes.

Offensively, Boston really only has us beat at a few spots when you compare line ups.

Ellsbury > Escobar
Pedroia > Johnson
Ortiz > Lind

The only arguable comparisons are Gonzalez / Bautista and Youkilis / Lawrie. Call me a homer, but I take both Jays.

Boston's rotation is just as up in the air as the Jays. Lester and Romero are sure things, Beckett and Morrow I think will have comparable seasons, after that, lots of question marks. I think the Jays have them beat in the bullpen and closer categories.

If I had to put money on it, I'd take the jays finishing ahead of Boston.

Red Sox give up 3 in the 9th and 3 in the 11th to get swept by the Tigers

Bring it on
