I remember before this last stretch of games, people were saying things like, "I hope they play well, but lose every game." Or some variation of that. I won't go digging for quotes, but I remember them.

Now, because the Wild are doing one of those things (the only one they can control, playing well) and not doing the other (the one they can't control, winning games), all of a sudden they are a bunch of **** ups?

I will say it again; they didn't, all of a sudden, start winning games 4-0 or 5-0. They are winning close games, games that could easily have gone the other way. They couldn't score one goal last night until after 50 minutes. But because they scored just that one, they're a bunch of **** ups.

The sky is not falling, even though some of you seem to really want it to be.

Most of us aren't saying the sky is falling. Just that it sucks the only "reward" for playing well down the stretch is a lower draft position.

The fanbase just needs a big break or something. 4 years without playoffs has made it tough to continue to pay top coin to go see the team play.

I didn't get to see the team play again last night until the replay at midnight. Stupid job.

I knew the Wild were going to get at least a point out of the game when I saw the score in the third period, somehow I just knew. Anyway, only one game left in this miserable season.
