I remember before this last stretch of games, people were saying things like, "I hope they play well, but lose every game." Or some variation of that. I won't go digging for quotes, but I remember them.
Now, because the Wild are doing one of those things (the only one they can control, playing well) and not doing the other (the one they can't control, winning games), all of a sudden they are a bunch of **** ups?
I will say it again; they didn't, all of a sudden, start winning games 4-0 or 5-0. They are winning close games, games that could easily have gone the other way. They couldn't score one goal last night until after 50 minutes. But because they scored just that one, they're a bunch of **** ups.
The sky is not falling, even though some of you seem to really want it to be.
Seriously? This is the 2nd most injured NHL team in history... there was an early 90's Bruins team that had a few more for the league record... Sorry, that isn't something that happens on a consistent basis.
With the expected roster turnover etc... you will see dramatically fewer injuries next season for this team. (Lats and Butch aside if they both happen to be here)
