Favorite Memory Post-1967

Mine would be the last time we took the Sens out of the playoffs, what about yours?
EDIT: Or of your favorite player.

I would say from when I started watching Leafs (Feb 28, 2010 ):

When Bowen said last season "Leafs are 4 points out of a playoff spot; and who would've thunk that". (It was after a win against Habs I think, Brett ****ing Lebda scored in that one if I am correct).

Wish I was alive to see it live. Curse you Ballard!

My favorite player(Tucker)moment would be the one game against I think Florida when he fanned on the initial shot but scored 2nd time around. Doesn't seem like much but I remember it very well for some reason.

I don't think I have one particular memory that stands out. My favourite period would be the Battle of Ontario years where the Leafs seemed to run into Ottawa every postseason and the series were always legendary.

It was particularilly delicious as it happened at the height of one of the many Ballardian attacks (salvos fired through the media) on Sittler and the "lack of team & individual character". This from a lifelong reprobate & ex-con.

Post 67 highlights of teams & players are many. Bruce Gamble. Seeing Plante in a Leafs uniform. The Islanders series. Palmateers performances. Vaives prolific years. The arrival of Clarke, watching him put players through the boards while putting up decent numbers & leading with character. Gilmour and Cujo et al. The night they closed down the Gardens..

Kinda bittersweet because of what happened shortly after, but I've gotta go with Sundin tying the game against Carolina in the last seconds of the '02 playoff run. I was losing my ****... might've even cried.

Darcy Tucker creaming Zdeno Chara..... Darcy Tucker flying through the air before head-shotting Sergei Gonchar..... Darcy Tucker pounding Sami Kapanen..... Darcy Tucker attacking the whole Ottawa bench..... Darcy Tucker wrecking Jeremy Roenick.....I miss Tucker

Also the "FIRE WILSON!" chant. That was great!

The year Daniel Alfresson guaranteed a series win against Toronto after the Leafs won game 5. The Sens won game 6 and followed it up with a comatose performance in game 7 as Toronto handed them yet another playoff exit. Gotta love Goldilocks and his asinine predictions.

That's mine as well.

Darryl Sittler scored six goals and assisted four times in an 11-4 thumping of Boston on Hockey Night in Canada on Feb. 7, 1976.

Sundin 500! Just how he did it was phenomenal. A shorthanded OVERTIME goal against Kipper.. oh and of course it was a hat trick goal to boot.

Yeah sure there are some memories vs the sens in the playoffs and going to the conference finals twice but the memory that stands out the most is my favourite player potting number 500!

Thank God they got rid of those blasphemous jerseys... " Great Moment" for me when they did so.

Just wondering because I've never seen you post here, and you're from Vancouver, so I thought you might've switched allegiances when Vancouver got an NHL franchise.
