"The reality is you're not making the playoffs. I can't remember the last time we played like this. We have that kind of intensity, so that's a long long time ago...We've been fighting extremely hard with a lot of injuries and guys came back and we continued to fight really hard but we didn't compete and we didn't come out like we normally do. Some people told me to expect that because we're going on the road and we're not home. We're facing 3 teams that aren't in the playoffs either so you don't have the motivation to hurt some teams that are trying to make the playoffs and you're not making it either so it's basically not the best circumstance for motivation but we have to find a way to play a lot better than that. That was poor effort and poor execution."
LET'S GO BOLTS!

I hope they feel bad for last night's effort and bounce back tonight. Let's get 60 for Stammer and I hope someone wipes Dion's stupid mug out of his face.
Toronto has owned our guys this year. Home game for them, back to back for us. Nothing good can come of this, except Stamkos getting at least two goals.
It occurred to me that both teams fanbases are sort of maligning their goalie coaches.
Frantz Jean for Francois Allaire straight up? Change of scenery could do them well.
Toronto injuries:
James Reimer - noggin (indefinitely)
Joffrey Lupul - lupus shoulder (out for season)
Nikolai Kulemin - finger (day-to-day?)
Dave Steckel - ACL (indefinitely)
Mikhail Grabovski - leg laceration (day-to-day)
Carl Gunnarsson - shoulder (out for season)
Carton Ashton is not injured, but he's scored 0 pts in his 14 games. He's also a -10.

I asked the Toronto fans how Ashton was doing so far not too long ago and they told me he was the best player on the ice at times. Sure doesnt look like it. However I remember trying to justify the Boyle and Richards trades as good things. The things we do as fans to make our own team seem better than they really are.
Hes been bad. Very bad, at times. At least Clark can move the puck from time to time, Aulie just blindly throws it off the glass and chases a forward into a corner somewhere.

Most senile leaf fans would tell you that he brought energy but isn't ready yet.

joke aside , Francois Allaire is THE best goalie coach in the NHL . I'm taking him on my team anytime .
