Forsberg will be gone before we pick, Teravainen isn't a need and would be a reach, Collberg we might be able to get at 23, Pokka is a 2nd rounder. If we stay at 10 hopefully Reilly can fall to us, if not we'll probably take Reinhart/Ceci and Det 1st Keokekk/Thrower or BPA if someone falls.
From what I've heard Tervainen wouldn't be a reach, right now looks like one of the players with most potential of the draft, outplaying a lot of very good players in the SM-Liiga
Forsberg is listed 8th Overall going to Carolina(MyNHLdraft.com) with a little luck we will be able to take him. With the Detroit 1st i would pick Vasilevski, but if Collberg falls to us i would take him and hope that the Russian factor sends Vasilevski to our 1st 2nd rounder or simply trade up to get him.

I would actually like us to pick up Reinhart, he's a big 6'4 defenseman that we seem to like. But if Dumba falls to us we can't pass up on that.
of what i read about Reinhart his type of game is almost the same as Hedman's so maybe Ceci or Trouba, we'll see how the draft goes mybe even Dumba or Reilly

I think Reinhart is a sure NHLer but he doesn't add anything we don't already have. He's similar to Brewer in good size, stay at home LHD, with less offensive upside. Which is what we have in Aullie if he keeps improving. We need a more TWD or OFD so I hope Trouba/Reilly fall if not we should trade back a few spots and we might still get Reinhart or Ceci.
There is something about Dumba I just don't like. His decision making is just so spotty sometimes.
Have to agree with this. He chooses the big flashy hit over the simple defensive play, or chooses to rush up when he shouldn't and leads to turnovers at times, during the games I've seen. Wouldn't be against picking him if he's available where we're picking but IMO there's better options. Like I said before if Trouba's there (which if Dumba is still there when we're picking Dumba won't be and vice versa).
On a side note I hope we pick up Marcantuoni outside of the 1st, his upside his huge, just needs to get healthy and improve his hands to match how fast and elite his skating is.
I feel like the game of stepping up into big hits and rushing the puck up the ice will evolve out of his game with time. Sometimes you tend to see younger players have this evolve out of their game. Barberio was the same way in terms of rushing the puck and pinching to much and that seems to have evolved out.

To me its like Dumba is just like Phaneuf. Can make some really, really stupid choices in his zone from time to time, but avoids taking too many stupid penalties like Phaneuf.
Barberio has more of a Boyle feel to me. Always knew his offense was there and he was overshadowed in Moncton by Gormley, just needs some time to grow and get himself both mentally and physically prepared to play in the NHL. Needed to learn when to pinch and when to hold up.
Reinhart doesn't offer us anything we don't already have, we need someone with more offensive upside. I'd rather trade up for Reilly/Trouba or trade down and get Reinhart later or Ceci/Maata.

We dont have a shutdown pairing really, it would make sense for us to draft a strong defensive-dman.
Also does the emergence of Barberio as an AHL offensive juggernaut change the drafting strategy and sway us to jump the gun on one of the top flight goalies?
I'd personally like a RHD to pair with Hedman for next decade.
I'm draft handicapped. Do we need offensive defensemen, shut down or all around dmen?
We could always draft a RW!
Ps. Long day at work and buzzed...forgive my idiocy.
Imo it doesn't matter. All are great picks at #10. Offensive, defensive, 2 way, whatever it may be, we could really use any D prospect who has 1st pairing potiental, so I don't care if it's Dumba, Trouba, Rielly, or Reinhart.
