I like Schneider, Salo, don't have a problem with Raymond, Luongo or the Sedins particularly.
It's Burrows, Kesler, Lapierre, Bieksa that I really despise. Don't think there's any other team in the league that has near that number of complete d-bags on one team. And that's why I hate the Canucks.
Part me hopes they get **** kicked in the first round. The other part of me hopes they make it to Game 7 of the SCF and get manhandled there, Boston-style. Meh, either way, as long as the sisters aren't raising the cup, I'll be happy.

Actually the Bruins have a larger number of d-bags than the Canucks, this may be overlooked by the fact you like seeing them beat the aforementioned players up.

From your perspective perhaps, from ours there isn't a d-bag on the bruins just cup winners.
LA vs Vancouver. Couldn't have been any better. Goaltending wins in the playoffs and I think it's safe to say Quick >> Luongo. Not too mention LA has had a playoff mentality for about three weeks now.
Don't forget the "President's Trophy Curse" is extending its stay in Vancouver, so we have that going for us (if you believe in that sort of thing-lol).
Only 7 times out of 25 have the PT winners gone on to win the Stanley Cup, so there's GOT to be something to it...amirite?

and only one of the last ten if what they were saying on HNIC with the homer squad was true.

Err well taken from my FB:
Quote:
Edmonton won President's trophy in 86 and 87, cup in 87. Calgary won it in 88 and 89, cup in 89. Detroit won it in 95 and 96. No cup (until later.) Dallas won it in 98 and 99, cup in 99. Vancouver has won it in 2011 and 2012. Cup?
Eeek!

Have some faith-lol! The Canucks are as good as gold at screwing things like that up. Remember the "Olympic Prophecy" from last year? Their fans figured they had the cup in the bag after game 1...of the regular season.
Last year, i think we heard it all, especially how the city hosting the winter olympics won the cup the next season....and we all know how that turned out for the Canucks.
I think what I hate most about Canuck fans is the way they treat Luongo. Remember all that talk about them regretting his deal, wanting to get rid of him etc etc, right after he brings them to the SCF?
I know Oiler fans wouldn't boo him off the ice because he's having a bad night. (if he was ours)

If he was on the Oilers, my biggest decision would be where to put the bullet...between my eyes, between the lips or to the temple.
They can keep him for the next decade, it will be hilarious when they trade Schneider, and keep Lulu....they will be stuck with that albatross of a contract for years (a la Horcules). His best days are definitely behind him IMO. He was much more of a game stealer when he was in Florida. Not so much anymore.

I have always felt Luongo has that similarity with Cujo coming from a team that you faced loads of shots (Florida, Edm/Tor; respectively) and then going to a new team (Van, Det (Cujo)) and expecting to just be solid, and have more pressure.
I always felt any Canadian team to win the cup Next would have the difficulty just in terms of the pressure, but Luongo to me can't make that big game defining stop, that has to wear on you psychologically.
