Well, obviously, as the Homer goal just shwoed, not all goals and assists are created equal.
There are some assists that guys should be embarrased to take on their stats. But there are also goals where the passer did the bulk of the work.

So... good job, Homer, for not fanning on a perfect pass or missing a wide open net
