Thinking of Brassard... Can anybody be any more inconsistent?
He had 10 points in 10 games, then went 6 games pointless, and now he's got 8 points in the last 8 games...

Or, you could say, he has 18 points in his last 24....................

Not sure what to make of Brass - I don't think he'll ever be a #1 center, but he could be a good #2 if he would bring it every night, starting at the beginning of the season. I the Dispatch chat today with Porty he pointed out that the last couple seasons Brass has only brought it once the season was a loss. Of course, all of those scratches early this season couldn't have helped.
Aside from Dorse and Prospal, the best thing I can say about this miserable season is this: Our guys made things difficult for some teams fighting for their second season. (I'm really hoping the Wings lose their home ice to Darth Vader. )
I also hope that Nash gets a goal, a win, and a proper goodbye Saturday. He seems like a super nice guy and he's been a good soldier. That crazy goal in the desert was, for me, a taste of what Columbus hockey could be.
Kings are in the playoffs, now do we take this years pick or next?
I'd imagine that a big part of that decision will be who wins the Pacific Division, and if the Kings make it to the conference finals even if they're a wild card team.
