Sounds good buddy. Can I play GM this weekend?

But anyways,

Offers on Matthias and interest in Kulikov, trading Kulikov is a possibility, it won't cost you a cheap nickel though.

Confirmed.

"We appreciate the short stint that Wolski had with the team, but we feel that we could replace a player like Wolski with some of our younger prospects in the upcoming season."

The Ottawa Senators announced today that the club has acquired defenseman Roman Josi from the Nashville Predators in exchange for Matt Carkner and Ottawa's 2012 1st round pick.

The 21 year old Josi quietly put together a solid rookie campaign, with four goals and 11 assists in 50 games with the Predators this past season.

"We targeted Roman from the beginning. We believe he will have no problem developing in to a top four defender for our club. We wish Matt all the best in Nashville."

Leafs are still looking for another 1st round selection, and are willing to discuss different possibilities.

BLOCKBUSTER TRADE, ACQUIRE DUCHENE FROM AVALANCHE

DUCHENE, MATT
COL 2ND ROUND PICK - 2012
CONDITIONAL PICK - IF DUCHENE DOES NOT RESIGN

KULIKOV, DMITRI
BJUGSTAD, NICK

"This deal was extremely hard for the Panthers organization to proceed with, Kulikov will be an excellent defenseman in the future with the Avalanche, the depth on defense in the Panthers system made Kulikov expandable. Duchene, while having an off year, is an elite talent who will only get better as he gets older, we love our one-two punch down the middle with Duchene and Weiss. The hardest part had to be giving up Bjugstad, he has been exceeding expectations at the University Of Minnesota and we hope that he has an excellent career with the Avalanche, as we know he will. The Panthers would like to thank the Avalanche with the quick negotiations and thank Dmitri and Nick for their contributions to the Panthers organization."

- Florida Panthers GM Jeff McCarthy on Matt Duchene acquirement

Tim Thomas could be had for the right offer. If interested, make me an offer.

David Krejci could be moved for a package involving a top 3 defender. Have already had discussions with a team involving a player of interest.

Nathan Horton could be dealt as well.

Desert Dog Again; Leafs Deal Lombardi to Phoenix

The Toronto Maple Leafs continued their rebuild this off-season, trading centre Matthew Lombardi to the Phoenix Coyotes, along with the New York Rangers 7th round selection in 2012, in exchange for Coyotes 4th round selection in the 2012 draft.

"Matthew has a very desirable skillset, but has endured a tough year." Leafs GM TribalPhoenix stated in a press release tonight.

"We felt that we needed to continue to make changes to our club, and cap space flexibility was part of it. While we love what he can do with our club, Matthew had some solid years in Phoenix, and we hope he can rediscover that form with the Coyotes again as he'd only get a chance as a bottom six forward on our club. The pick gets us back into the 4th round of this years draft, while also giving us some flexibility."

"We wish Matthew very well in his second go with the Coyotes."

Currently accepting offers for anyone not named Lehtonen, Benn, or Eriksson.

Fielding several offers for Ribeiro at the moment, looking for a scoring winger and help on D.

Confirmed. Matt was an outstanding player for us and we think he'll be even better this time around playing with Boedker and Korpikoski. We are thrilled to have him back in Phoenix.

Had a lot of interest, surprisingly, in Clarke MacArthur.... he will be moved in the right deal. Looking for a high pick or a very, very solid prospect.

Not really. Kaberle has put up decent numbers in MTL.

Antti Miettinen- Good depth scoring. Willing to let go cheap so i can bring up a kid.

Aaron Gagnon- See above.
These guys still available. And more!

2012 Picks: #10, #40, and #71 are all being shopped to either trade down, or trade them al together. Looking for additional picks/assets.

Tobias Enstrom- Won't come cheap, but can move. Buff and Bogo are staying (just passed up a VERY good offer for Zach, it was heartbreaking).

Stuart/Clitsome- Looking to upgrade on the 5/6D spot. Willing to trade one of them + an asset for a similar D with more upside, or trade one for a solid asset to bring up a kid

All UFA rights except Slater: You want some early negotiating time? it'll be cheap to acquire
------------------------------

Stuff i'm looking for include Top 6 help, some skilled bottom 6ers, a #2G, and maybe a #1C upgrade, stud prospect, or Top 4 D

At It Again; Leafs Deal Rynnas, Mueller to Stars

The Toronto Maple Leafs made their third deal of the day, this time sending goaltender Jussi Rynnas and minor league forward Marcel Mueller to the Dallas Stars in exchange for goaltending prospect Tyler Beskorowany.

"We're thrilled to be adding Tyler to our stable of goaltenders." Leafs GM TribalPhoenix stated in a conference call this evening.

"We've been watching Tyler since he played with Owen Sound in the OHL, and we think his size and ability make him a perfect fit to work with Francois Allaire. We're very happy with this deal, as Jerry D'Amigo takes an increased role with the Marlies organization."
