All good we can't drop any more places in the standing winning doesn't matter much anymore but I would really like to win one of these two games so we can have a 100points.
Any sort of Devils loss and/or any game that gives Philly a point clinches us in sixth place. The odds are very much with us.
I don't know, man... The outcome of four games going against us? To win our seeding into a bad matchup? I feel like I've seen this before and know how it ends.
In any other year, I rail against rooting for the lower finish, but when your matchup goes from the Cats to the Pens (with no disrespect to Florida at all), especially when looking for a bounce back effort in the playoffs, it's a no-brainer.
It's just that I can see a Flyers team losing to a desperate Sabres team and falling to the Pens in their finale. Whether or not they'd lose both in regulation, I'm not as certain, but possible when they, too, know they could coast into an easier matchup.
I suppose it would be very interesting to see how the team shows up on Saturday *if* we beat the Wings and the Flyers get no points tonight.

It's not just the outcome of four games, it's any sort of points at all going either way, and that is very common in this era of loser points. If the Flyers pick up anything, they clinch fifth. If we fail to pick up even one of the four points, they clinch fifth. I'm confident that the Flyers will win at least one of their games. They're not going to roll over for the Pens going into a tough series, they'll fight hard for that one.
that is literally all I care about in these final 2 games.
Agreed. We don't need to take any more hits to our depth. Losing Yayo sucks.
I was hoping Larsson would get back in this game, but I guess DeBoer has him benched for the rest of the season. Maybe if we lose tonight and Harrold does something stupid to cause the loss, Larsson will be put in for the next game.
