I want Jankowski with our 2nd! Kid looks like a beauty.

@Janko61
At the Toronto airport and I hear 2 Middle Eastern people talking in their own language and the only words I understood were "Nazem Kadri"

Toronto airport, eh?

Lol yea

He's a good ol' ontario boy. In the words of Cherry.

The kid reminds me so much of Colborne. (Judging by scouting report). He recently had a huge growth spurt, like Colborne. A big C with talent, not the most physical guy, but can hold is own.

He could be a nice pickup in the 2nd if we don't pick up a C in the first round (for w.e reason)

If Brett Connolly didn't put the puck in his own net, the Leafs would have a GUARANTEED top 5 pick(w/o the lottery). which is just.......

Oh well, thanks to Anaheim, Minnesota, and the Isles though we're in the same position we were before tonight at 26th. A regulation loss tomorrow and the Leafs pick no lower than 5th. *knocks on wood* Knowing the Leafs though....... Go Habs GO!!

Well they have done it so long they got good at it

Huge game saturday... With nyi possibly winning against columbus and a regulation loss we get #4. Guaranteed a top 4 forward in the draft (and would bet galchenyuk would be available) huge we need gusty to play net

This is how it will all shake out i think:

1.CLB - Yakupov
2.EDM - Murray
3.MON - Grigorenko
4.NYI - Dumba
5.TOR - Galchenyuk

Unless the NHL finally throws us a bone for all our contributions through revenue sharing and we win the lottery

Filip Forsberg is a winger. I heard Mckenize calling him a winger twice during Montreal game yesterday.

He plays at Stanstead college. And is committed to play at Providence College next year.

As per Button:

Mark Jankowski is an interesting player and obviously a unique story. He has grown to 6'3" from about 5'9" in just under 2 years so was under the radar so to speak. He has excellent skill in all regards. Skating is fast, quick and agile. He has great hands & great vision and awareness & is able to make plays that very few can. He has an ease to his game yet is very determined and competitive. I know there is lots of questions about where he plays but that is of no concern to me because I have seen many players star in the NHL that came out of similar situations. To name a few, Bob Carpenter, Tom Barrasso, Phil Housley, Brian Leetch, Jeremy Roenick and Keith Tkachuk. I think Mark has so much more room to grow as a player & as I have watched him, I have not seen anything that makes me believe that he isn't a very good NHL prospect and I will say it now, he may be as good a player in time as any in the draft.

Yea I haven't seen him either, searched like crazy for some vids. Only found a couple highlights.

His scouting report just really stands out for me. 6'3 center who has unreal hands and great vision.

Yea, Button is pretty good at giving a run-down on prospects. Just doesn't rank them that good imo

But nonetheless, that's some pretty high praise.
"He may be as good as any player in the draft"

Very similar line that the Leafs used to describe Leivo last year. And he's been great this year.

Tampa should be kicked out of the lottery for intentionally tanking.

Desjardins estimates that about 40% of the game is captured by Corsi analysis.

another proof that tanking doesn't work always! first overall, second overall and 7th overall still aint doing much for them. Sure they have a franchise player in stamkos but it still hasn't gotten them anywhere yet.

They need someone to take Lecavalier's contract.

Then get a goaltender younger than me. okay younger than how old I was 20 years ago.

Funny that so many Leafs' fans have said they'd take Galchenyuik over Grigorenko but are convinced Grigorenko will be picked first.

Is that people just trying to feel good about the Canadiens getting Griborenko?
