YES!- Best case scenario for us!!

The Kings were very impressive tonight- man, that Blues/Kings series is going to be a WAR- which is good news for the Preds

Love Kings beating Vancouver. Bye Bye. Means we play either Yotes or Hawks now which I am fine with. We can beat either of them and the Kings and Blues will beat each other up.

hopefully the Blue and Kings murder each other for seven straight quadruple overtime games.

Let's not count our chickens before they hatch. Winning round two is definitely no guarantee. Phx and Chi are both solid teams.

Hamhuis with the turnover which led to the winning goal. Fitting.

Love the late attempt to draw a penalty by Higgins, grabbing the guys stick after being caught out of position. Typical Vancouver.

On one hand, I don't hate Hamhuis because I know he wanted to stay and even offered us the same hometown discount he took with the Nucks--but on the other hand, all of the "WEBER IS COMING HOME JUST LIKE HAMHUIS DID!!!1" Vancouver fans certainly give me a great deal of happiness in seeing t go down that way.

Definitely. I remember every Brewers fan I knew being so happy the Cardinals knocked the Phillies out of the playoffs last year. And Packers fans being happy the Giants knocked out the Cowboys in 2007 so the Giants had to go to Lambeau instead of the Packers going to Dallas. Neither worked out well. Have to get past Phoenix or Chicago first.

It's hard to dislike Hamhuis. He gave his all here and generally a quiet humble guy. However his joke about Nashville to the Vancouver media after he left still irks me a bit to this day. Canucks fans try to pimp him as one of the best shut down D in the game. He had a few brutal turnovers tonight. I have to admit even though I don't inherently dislike Hammer I did smile a little bit after LA's GWG.

If Kesler is getting run out of Vancouver I wouldn't mind him in Nashville.

AMEN! Anyone still believe he would be in our top 4??? Heck, he would be our #6 dman right now! I know Canucks fans think he is worth 5M a year, but he isn't even worth 2M to the Preds.

Wonder if the Canucks fans are FINALLY getting tired of his 4 awful giveaways a game? I bet they are still living in dreamworld... He had 3 really, really, really bad ones that led to 3-on-2s and 2-on-1s last night.

Told my wife that Hammer's giveaway cost VAN the game last night. She asked if he learned that in Nashville. My response -- Don't know, but he's perfected it in Vancouver.

Did they riot again last night?

Seriously, are we ever going to get credit for winning? Going to the main boards is like begging for a fight. No matter what we do (southern hockey markets) it will always be the same ****. "didn't earn it" "boring hockey" "nhl handing it to them"

makes me sick

Yeah - I see it too and would just rather save my breath.

We get noticed a little bit now I suppose, but only in regards to Rinne/Defense.
Overall credit to the team/crowd/etc. - no, and probably never will.

Look at the non-traditional teams still alive. LA, Nashville, Phoenix, Florida, and the Caps. Let the hockey snobs say what they will.

Who gives a ****. When Weber is raising the Cup over his head they can think whatever they want.

Speaking of boring hockey. If LA/STL face off in the next round, I feel sorry for both fanbases knowing that they'll be forced to watch that snoozefest. And they say the preds play a boring style? Please.

just because a team plays defense doesn't mean it won't be tight checking, hard hitting, fast hockey. Both teams play up tempo and push the play for the most part but both get back quickly.
