OMG this is perfect!

On saturday, if:

-we get 0 points,
-florida gets ATLEAST 1 point
-washington gets 2 points,

we won't face boston!! seemed so unlikely, but with our last 2 losses (including tonight lol), we've positioned ourselves perfectly! its kinda out of our hands, but both florida and washington will bust their ***** off to win on saturday, for their own situations! woo

Either way, both teams, NY and Boston, scare me equally.

We have owned NY this season, and in recent memory. No reason to be scared of torts

We sure owned the Leafs in the regular season back in 2002!

Every year people say this about matchups. In reality, head-to-head records for the regular season rarely mean anything come playoff time.

People say be careful what you wish for, but styles make matchups and we dont respond well against the Bruins...they squeeze the life out of us...I'd rather face the Rangers than the Bruins....Boston is 9-1 in the last 10 against Ottawa...its an easy choice to play the Rangers

It doesn't matter who we face, either way it's going to be a tough matchup.

really dangerous for a 7/8 seed wishing for an opponent.

i dont want to go into the playoffs on a 3 game losing streak.

We are just as likely to lose to both teams.

From a quality of play, style of play, keeping my blood pressure somewhat in check kind of way. I'd rather play the Rangers.

boston knows what it takes to win. both will be tough matchups but i like our luck much more against the rangers than the bruins

We're streaky. It's better for us to be streaky bad before the playoffs and turn streaky good when it's on

We'd at least have a fighting chance against the Rangers.

The Bruins were annual chokers until last year.

When did the Rangers choke recently?

I wouldn't mind if P-Mac rests Alfie, Spezza, and Karlsson on Saturday.

Karlsson needs to get 20 Goals and 80 Points it would be inhuman for that to happen, Boston shot themselves in the foot today. Sens can hang themselves if they win on Saterday.

The Rangers are playing for the presidents cup, are they not? They'll give everything in that last game vs Was

I agree, also it's not like the Rangers are going to be a walk in the park.
