It's fun watching league reaction to our success in games 1 and 2.
The Flyers are like the Americans from that movie Independence Day. Even countries that don't like us are like, "Yeah, cool. Whatever, just kill them, please."

The Pens board is going crazy that Bylsma didn't use his last change at home to get out of the Malkin-Couturier matchup when he had numerous opportunities.
Now that the series is in Philadelphia, he doesn't even have a choice for the next two games. Couturier should get at least 18:00. When is Malkin going to push back?

When Couturier is looking the other way. Most likely in the back of the head too.

With all the junk going on in other series, who would have thought this would arguably be the cleanest series? There's been a few things, but nothing that has caused complete outrage.

I've liked the two games so far, not only because they've been Flyers wins, but also because they've been fairly intense with quite a few solid, clean hits. Letang had a beauty of a hip check on Rinaldo in game 2 for instance, Schenn had some great hits in the first game and so on.

I fully expect something dirty out of Malkin against Couturier before the series is over. He has to be getting frustrated being beaten on the ice by a rookie, and hearing about it in the press.

I def think he will...and it will involve stick work IMO b/c he's a coward like that
Hey guys, it might be easier for you and all of us if you avoid the Playoff board for a couple hours. If you go over there, you WILL see some stupid things that will make you angry, and when you get angry you might get infracted. So, I'd suggest giving it a couple hours for people to cool down and let the mods sort the less desirable posters out of the discussion.
Most of the time when I go over there, I usually just read stuff, but don't post. If it's a huge thread, I won't touch it. I might add something in the first couple pages, but usually nothing more. Rule #1 of the internet: arguing with others over the internet gets you nowhere.
Usually playoff series end up with me respecting the opposing team a little bit more and their fan base considerably less (due to antics on the boards, of course).
This series has been the complete opposite. Pens' fans have been earned a lot of my respect while their team has lost it.

Every single aspect of this series has been won by your team. Coaching, defending, offense, positioning, discipline, hustle and forechecking. I hate your city, I hate your team, I hate orange, but I have to give props to this squad. They have come a long way since we spanked you guys in 09 and are most definitely a top team. Love Giroux, Simmons, Coburn and Jagr.
Questions to you guys.
I do not see what you see in Bryz. Fleury has been horrid, but Bryz is right there with him. Are you worried about this guy when you guys play a real team next round?
3 games, 3 wins. However the Flyers let up the first goal every game, I would not be surprised if they do it next game to, they will probably win, but once again, if you play a solid defensive team, it could be dangerous..
Leafs fan here, congrats on the continued domination today. Coming into this season I really underestimated just how great of a team you guys had. I'll be pulling for a return to the SCF for ya, also thanks for destroying those dirty whining Penguins and their cheerleader captain Crysby so far.
They proved it on April 7th when we beat them 6-4. They're proving it again, down two games to none and down two goals in the first period. This Penguins team cannot accept losing with ANY dignity.
They proceed to go down by 3 goals in the third period and are stifled by the Flyers trapping style of play and decide to up the ante. Frustration sets in for Neal, who by the way played one HELL of a game up to that point, and he begins to take runs at our key players.
It is obvious to me that Bylsma, cannot control his players. Really interested to see how the league deals with this game.
Watching a replay of the first period. Rinaldo and Engelland going at it after the whistle... refs jump in the Niskanen crosschecks Rinaldo twice while Crosby is punching Zac in the back of the head.
One of these cheap shot scum bags needs to get ****ing destroyed on Wednesday.
