So I wonder how many times Milbury is going to have to change his underwear from all the "excitement" he experiences watching the Pens...ugh!

Is there any room on the Flyers bandwagon? I hope you guys sweep and embarrass them in the first round. Something akin to what the Rangers did to the Islanders in the first round of the playoff in 94.

Hoping the rookies Schenn Read and Couturier are going to play a big part in us taking out the pens in round 1.

Goody Two skates

Oh wow...maybe Milbury is not that bad afterall...well...

Quote:
Former NHL head coach and general manager Mike Milbury labelled the Pittsburgh Penguins’ Sidney Crosby a “goody two shoes” after Sunday’s brawl between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Penguins.

Tempers were raging and Flyers coach Peter Laviolette had to be restrained from going after Penguins coach Dan Bylsma in the last few minutes of the game. Penguins forward Joe Vitale levelled Daniel Brière shortly after the ensuing faceoff, starting a brawl between all 10 players on the ice.

Milbury slammed Crosby for “adding drama to the game,” saying that Crosby was hardly the “perfect gentleman.” Shortly before the fight, Brayden Schenn cross-checked Crosby.

“Little goody two shoes goes into the corner and gives a shot to Schenn,” Milbury told Philadelphia radio station 94WIP. “Schenn was late to the party, he should have turned around and drilled him right away, but I guess better late than never.

“So you know, Crosby gets cross-checked, big whoop,” Milbury said of the hockey star who sat out games for more than a year after a concussion.

“He said after he came back from his 35th concussion, ‘I’m not going to do this any more, I’m not going to get into these scrums, I’m going to stay away from that stuff,’” Milbury continued. “He couldn’t help himself because there’s a little punk in Crosby. He’s not the perfect gentleman. He’s not the sweet kid you see in interviews with his hat pulled down over his eyes. I’d say screw him, hit him.”

Do the Pens even play Sid on Saturday or let him sit?

I don't play Timonen or Giroux in this meaningless game.

Let Shelley, Rinaldo, and Wellwood run loose. If you can get Zolnierczyk and others in the game, do so.

They were rooting for us tonight to beat the Sabres haha, they also put up a thank you thread on our board for clinching them a spot. I considered that rooting for us. Maybe a stretch but whatever, it's the playoffs!

This is slightly off-topic, but does anyone here know if they will show the first round of the playoffs on gamecentre live? I have a season subscription, but I'm not sure if it lasts only until the end of the regular season or what... Reason I ask is that I'm heading to Japan next week and want to catch the whole series there. It definitely would not be blacked out there, if it was on gamcentre, correct?

Is this the package?

ARE NHL PLAYOFF GAMES INCLUDED IN NHL®CENTER ICE®?

No, there are no Stanley Cup playoff games included in your NHL CENTER ICE subscription.

Damn...yeah, that's the package, and that's what I was afraid of... You wouldn't happen to know of any site besides adthe or whatever it's called, that would stream playoff games online? I can't even watch from Japan on CBC.ca, since it will be blacked out for people outside of Canada

There's always Malkin.

And if he sits too, there's Kunitz. And then there's that thing with the schnoz.

All playoff games are nationally televised, so there is no need for GameCentre. Whether it's CBC or TSN, Flyers/Penguins is likely to get lead billing.

I don't know of other sites but at times NBC streams games on its site. That is for the NBC-TV games (not NBC Sports, former VERSUS network). I am not aware of the viewing area, however. If we receive available streams, they'll be placed near the top of the OP for each GDT.

Agreed.

Their fans, especially on here, are the most obnoxious fanbase in the NHL. They win 1 stanley cup and act as if their **** doesn't stink.
