People always associate Washington with being "elite" team. They aren't. Ovechkin is lazy. Their goaltending is all ****ed up right now. Semin is the only thing that makes me nervous on that team. I hate them and would love to see the Bruins destroy them.

florida and washington play on saturday... the only possible way for boston not to end up with ottawa is if washington beats florida in overtime
a straight win by washington drops florida to 8. a point by florida keeps them in 3
so we know we cant end up playing florida in round 1
if washington gets 2 points though they could pass ottawa for 7th and we might end up with them
boston should win round 1 easy against either ottawa or washington though and if we lose its us losing. neither of these teams have what it takes to give us much of a series if we are hitting on all cylnders.
imagine if florida somehow beats jersey and we get the panthers in round 2
we might be looking at clear sailing right to the final 4
and if you go back 2 seasons to our collapse against philly and realize how close we were to a final 4 matchup against montreal... this team is as close to dynasty as anyones been to for awhile now

I know we're all assuming Washington will beat the resting Rangers on saturday, but doesn't seem more like Torts to try and send a message in the last game? Start that series a game early and punish their first round opponents.
