On himself and Evgeni Malkin being called a whiner:
I don’t know what he’s talking about. I mean, if you want you can put a camera on us all game, put a camera on (Ryan Callahan) all game. You’ll see who’s over there more. He should worry about his own players.
Crosby on the general comments about his demeanor -
"It’s coming out of Philly, which has been coming out for seven years since I’ve been in the league. I’ll be the first one to admit my first couple of years I was pretty hard on the refs. I’ve come a long way since then, but I’m nowhere near where I was then and to get those kinds of remarks every day is uncalled for and not warranted. I don’t really know how much I can say. I don’t need to sit here and defend myself for something that’s not going on, but if they want to try that garbage try it."
I like. Hope Sid continues to be candid about this nonsense.

I heard that interview, and Sid said a bit more. He was pretty critical. Bylsma weighed in as well:
“We’ve seen that in the last week all over with gamesmanship,” Bylsma told Penguins Report. “Trying to talk to, at and through different mediums to the team, referees and who might be listening to some of the talk. That’s all it is: gamesmanship.
“They’re trying to have an effect where I’m not sure they can have an effect. I think it’s gamesmanship and they’re trying to have someone hear them. Whether it’s the referees or whom I don’t know.”
That said, Bylsma couldn’t resist giving Torts a slight shot.
“His postgame comments for a lot of games this year, we’ve heard different things from hits, starting lineups, how referees ends games,” Bylsma said. “It’s part of his coaching manual to go off.”

It's sad. I'm seeing people (on other forums) try to be reasonable, but in the end it all comes down to "I want to disagree with Torts because he's an idiot, but I really hate Pens fans, so I think I'm going to agree with him, word-for-word, 100%."
Or in some cases "Well, if something is popular opinion, it's usually right, and every other fanbase agrees with Torts, so I'm going to have to, too."
I don't think the Pens whine, other than Crosby at times, I do think get away with a lot though.
Every single team in the league gets away with a lot. Also every single team in the league complains to the officials about calls, especially that teams captain. Crosby is the Pens captain, so obviously he's going to talk to the officials more.
So im confused. Was it Sid or Geno that laid the knee down?
This.
The hit was dirty, no doubt; though I'm not convinced he meant to do it. Regardless...
Can't wait until you guys destroy everyone in the east in the PO's. I'm sick of everyone hating on the Pens for no reason. I mean, really... Briere: "I think he meant to hurt me." Even if he did, it was a clean hit. You're a big boy now Danny, suck it up. And why was Milbury even talking about Crosby? And what did Orpik's hit have to do with Crosby and Malkin? So stupid.
