Zanon and Corvo - defensive pair chemistry!
How about Zanon and Corvo leading the team both with +3 plus/minus tonight.
They actually look to have some unlikely chemistry for some reason!
nobody else was over +1 for the night
Corvo +3
Zanon +3
Lucic, Kelly, Krejci, Peverley, Marchand +1
Krug, McQuaid 0
Ference, Seidenberg -1

Not sure if it was chemistry or just Zanon playing out of his mind to make up for a liability on the ice.

Zanon was very good tonight, with Corvo at his side he had to step it up, and did.

The only great thing about Corvo is that's he's a very good 7th defenseman come playoff time if Boychuk is ready to go. Far, far better than most teams will have in that spot. I'll take that depth all day, every day.
Other than that, this one time supporter has had his fill. He's probably trying his damnedest, but he doesn't fit in to Claude's system any better than Kaberle did.
Let's bury the "offensive defenseman" thing and just stick to guys who can play Bruins hockey...it seems to work out better that way.

I watched Corvo stand to the right of Khubodin and spin in circles watching the Sens rapid fire about 4 shots on one of the PPs in the second I believe. No stick on the ice, no covering a man, just lost and useless

Corvo was still absolutely terrible tonight.
At one point, when the Bruins were on the PP, an Ottawa player was coming up the boards with speed taking the puck into the zone. Instead of squaring up to them and skating backwards into the zone, Corvo TURNED AROUND and skated into his zone with his back to the puck allowing the ottawa player to move right around him.
I don't think I've ever seen an NHL dman do that before.

He made this thread on purpose to express his undying love and devotion to Oh No Joe.
Trolling just a lil.
Corvo sucked. Little Z and Krug bailed him out big time tonight.

How does this guy still try to talk up Corvo. Look at his posts, 90% of them are about Corvo.
Joe Corvo is a useless piece of ****. Accept it.

Mrs. Corvo:
Your son played horribly tonight. Again. The game was won by the goaltender. Your son had nothing to do with it. I'm sure your son's a wonderful person and that you're a fine mother, but he really needs to leave the Bruins and return to your loving arms. I'm sure everyone involved will be happier for it.
Best Regards,

Since it is the Corvis memorial trophy does this mean Corvo is actually dead? This would explain a lot.....but not everything.

I remember the OP at the trade deadline trying to persuade everyone into thinking that Greg Zanon was nothing more than a 7th defensemen who could block some shots.
at that. Zanon is great. So similar to the Seidenberg deal a few years ago.
