Could end up 4th if someone after us wins the lottery.

My goodness, the Gagner hate in this thread is ridiculous. That goal is a direct result of Whitney's lack of hockey sense.

What else should the Oilers do in the summer to improve outside of drafting Grigs and moving Gagner?

I'm pissed about Gagner's season (outside of his torrid week) but Grigorenko won't replace Gagner's 47 points next year. Not on this team. And I'm willing to make an avatar bet on it.

I would be cool with that.

I'm happy with any of:

Yakupov
Grigorenko
Murray
Dumba

But can always have someone behind us win the lottery.
And canadiens got to 77pts, most we can get is 76, can the 29th place team get lower than third?

Hopefully Montreal wins on Saturday or at least gets a loser point.

Tough way to end a decent game.

That hit by Hordichuk on Visnovski was a beauty.

Only one more potential fail to endure and the season is over

On a brighter note no more hearing about how Landeskog carried his team into the playoffs

Whit was an idiot there, but thats on Gagner as well. He just did that a few games ago as well, almost the exact play, and its not like he has scored a goal like that all year. Dumb play.

Positives: Ebs and Nuge with a point each, Petry with 24 minutes, +2 and an assist.

Secondary Postives: Old guys making their cases to be moved or bought out.

They're in such a freefall that I'm not very optimistic about that.

How are the Oilers 18th in GF, 22nd in GA, 2nd in PP%, 14th in PK% and yet 29th in points? Why are those stats so much better than our record?

Well yeah......he also scored the first goal and therefore directly responsible for us getting a damn point.

Eberle is off the hook though because it was a highlite reel goal.

He completely missed the net like he usually does, it was a mistake by him in a 4 on 4 situation and Whitney not covering the point was a mistake as well.

Not too mad. We beat the Ducks in their last home game--they returned the favour.

The odds of beating Vancouver on saturday night are pretty low, fairly good bet that we clinch 29th place.

You obvious have never played Hockey at any pro level, Hockey 101 object of the game is to score obtained by shooting , sometimes shots go wide by trying to pick a corner, Blaming Gagner is just pathetic.Hockey 102 Dman on play should be aware where the opposing forward is . That was all Whitney 0 Gagner period sigh
