We're just going to continue using this thread. Now that we've selected a theme, we're going to need to conceptualize the theme into a template. Anyone can contribute to the conceptualization, either by producing their own concept, or by offering their opinions on concepts as they appear in the thread.

I'm not really on board with this idea. The whole point of the poll was to get a final concept that rules over the others. I understand 0 year rebuild and Heritage train because they both literally look the same and share font and colours but MS Paint is wayyyy different.

I definitely agree that it'd be better if we're all on board with a single avatar.
At any rate, right now we'll ignore the MS Paint and focus on building the Zero Year Rebuild and Heritage Train avy.
At least wait until I've finished up the concept I'm working on right now. I think I've combined the two pretty well.

WHOA. Ummm, nah, bro. The original designs were much better. The font and color on the first frame are horrible and the colour combinations on second frame make it look messy.

I'm really pissed at myself for not noticing the bold. That said, I'm using the same font that the Sens are using for their Believe it slogan. Don't see any reason to deviate from that, I think it's a good way to tie the avys in with the franchise.

To be honest, we should probably change Slutspel to Playoffs, seeing how Slutspel wasn't very popular.

Not a fan of having different fonts in all the slides to be honest. I'd also like to change the effects on the black and white image to be a little less blurry, but I get that it's emulating period effects.

Yeah, I'm not good with fonts so I didn't bother changing them, but that could definitely be changed.
However, I think that the blurry effect s very fitting, seems more like a pic from 1927

Pic from 27, not very blurry. Definitely could try and find a way to make it a grainier though. My own technique was lazy and just used the canvas filter, so there's huge room for improvement from what I tried with my concept.

I love that second one, with the Slutspel. (having the "O" AND the "Zero" in that first one defeats the purpose of the joke.)
In that Slutspel frame, I'm assuming people would use different players, right?
Another update on mine to reduce redundancy of 0 Zero. Also changed the player slide a little.
As far as Slutspel goes, pretty much all of our female posters have said they won't use them. For the sake of being inclusive, I'd rather not use Slutspel. It wasn't the most popular theme and it doesn't really fit our roster even - we have two Swedish players on the team. I can easily replace Slutspel with Playoffs for that avy; however we'd have to change font.
