The PK is beyond awful, but the bigger takeaway, even if they had eventually lost, was getting so many past Quick. Nice that now they are in the playoffs, they prove that they can go on the road and beat the NHL's best goaltender (best goalie in the world right now??) 5 times.
5 goals against Quick, not to mention the SO winner. IN LA. Wow!!!!!!!!
This game was more than just a win. It knocked the Kings down a peg or two, I would bet. They were very confident going in, and the Sharks beat them ON THEIR ICE, coming FROM BEHIND a couple times, and dominating them in THREE FIGHTS. It does not feel good to be a Kings player right now, which is good for us on Saturday. Hopefully the game then is better refereed and a lot cleaner, though.
Wow the Kings all looked like they had a group cry at the end there. I actually felt sorry for them. Never seen a team look so defeated this season. During the Kings broadcast I'm not sure it was live but after the commercial break it still showed the Kings still sitting on the bench and hunched over the ice.
Yeah feel sorry for them pissing off the 2 people on the Sharks as an opposing player I wouldn't wanna piss off lol.
(Since I'm out of market) Now that the Sharks are officially in, time to call DirecTV, speak to retention (by saying "Cancel service" twice), and get them to give me the Sports Pack free for 3 months so I can see the Sharks playoff postgame shows (without using a stream).
If it werent for theeir goonish cheap-shot intent-to-injure hits in the back that sent two players to the dressing room, I would actually feel some pity for them... they are "this" close to actually winning a division for the first time in 21 years. And theyve NEVER won the pacific. Never. And they thought they had it in the bag, and then the sharks woke up.
