It was a weird game, not much to say about it from a danish perspective, many of the players will be cut. Denmark had most puck possesion, and controled most of the game, Latvia were stonecold when finishing. Made the difference. 3-0 goal by Cipulis was a beauty!

I wouldn't say Denmark controlled the game, yeah ''most puck possesion'' was probably there, but if we count actual highlights, those 30 shots of your were mostly from distance and no problem for the goalie, in front of Latvian net there was no room for your players to do anything while our attacks like Indrašis shot against crossbar could end in another goal or two. Even your goal was just a lucky bounce off somebody...
I dunno, people who watched this game here, in Latvia, had completely different idea about the game- that all you could do was just enter the zone and shoot, no creativity, no hope for anything whatsoever...

I guess people see things differently. Lat had ONE crossbar shot. And were not that dangerous other than that and the goals. NO Denmark did not do allot to score, it was a very young and new team. and not a good goalie, so dont get to high!
But, Denmark still had the puck most, more shots and many of them were in the slot.
Denmark just had worse gaoltending ..
