Alfie's not weak and neither is he a rooster - what the hell are you talking about?

Well if he has any sort of injury I agree with that. We need to form some chemistry now.

The whole month of preparations seem kind of pointless now, considering the team that will start the premiere against norway. At least it gives some hope that we'll see a team that can rack up a few wins for once.

What's your predictions for the norway game? Repeat the loss from last year, close win or a blow out?

I expect nothing less than a blowout, even though lots of guys are new.

From a team perspective, totally. I think the several camps and games are good for the few SEL and KHL players making the team, though.

I think 4-1 or 5-2 or so is to be expected. Offense won't have much trouble, but defense and goalies will be a bit "meh". Which is to be expected early in the tournament.

Actually looks much better skill wise than they have done in a while. The team was **** but lucky us we get backup from the oldschool NHL'ers *pew*

Last year we didn't have any top NHL players..Just some younger ones. Now we got oldies like Zetterberg, Franzen, Alfredsson and Kronwall.

But i don't know if the winning heart is there It all depends on that. If it is there the chance of getting the gold is big.

We'll see, the team is so much more different when WC starts....

Wennerholm has always been the real jester when it comes to hockey knowledge.. But why on earth would he call THAT fourth line "jobbig att möta"? I just don't get it..

Used google translate and it says "hard to fill". Assuming its correct, maybe team Sweden lacks of high end-quality 3-4th line type grinding energy players, and have toomuch top 6-style players.

Hard to fill was nice xD. Annoying (for opposing players) would be a better translation though. I don't know. I think Larsson - Lundqvist - Bång could've done an alright job. Lots of intensity, hard work and even some physicality(by Swedish measures).

Zackrisson-Lundqvist-Pettersson

That's probably how I would form it.

I think Landeskog would complement well on the first, and he can play the possession game.

Eriksson and Alfredsson played together in the Olympics, Kruger is a fine playmaker that should fit in well.

Jarnkrok and Silfverberg should play together, Stalberg will cause further havoc for the defense.

Fourth line, I just like the fit of Zackrisson over Larsson for that particular line. And I'm pretty sure Zackrisson and Pettersson have played with each other before on the junior teams(both Frolunda and Sweden).

So basically, four pairs of Z & Mule, Eriksson & Alfie, Silfver & Iron, Lundy and Pettersson where four guys are added appropriately. Should help form the chemistry.
Those lines look much better imo. Then it's always possible to shift Stalberg and Landeskog if needs be (and Eriksson if he doesn't connect on the 2nd although I think he will).

Looks like last year. A top6, youth line and 4th line.

He removed the toughest guy to play against, Lundqvist, and put him as extra forward. Nice. Persson is probably the easiest guy to play against on the entire roster. Pettersson albeit small is a pain in the ass though.

Well, aftonbladets hockeywriters are pure jokes, that's for sure.... I mean, Wennerholm and Ros? You could not find worse hockeywriters than that

If that means S.Kronwall is the 8th D when Karlsson arrives, I wonder wonder who of Ekholm and Brodin that is #6. Unless they plan on playing Karlsson with Staffan, of course.

Also looks like Alfredsson might play with Kruger and Stalberg.

Maybe shouldn't read too much into practice lines with two very important guys on the way in though.

What do you guys think, can Sweden get its' game back on tracks with complitely new roster and homecrowd pressure? Do they have time to adapt the style of game? I believe Sweden has lost all the last 6-7 games? Even against really weak countries. Are you afraid to flop big time?

Completely different teams. The team against the swiss was very weak, only 1 or two players from that team made the WC-team, as 4th liners. The Kajobet team was also weak, the top 9 forwards are now completely different and the top 2 D pairings are also upgraded. All of these losses were kinda expected, to me at least.
