Freddie and Joel Lundqvist are locks. They will provide needed physical presence and they can also play hockey.

Yeah, they're consistently been our two best forwards(Lundqvist and Pettersson).

Andersson, Rosén and Zackrisson are fine to try out. Defensively the right guys were brought in, surprised about Klefbom though.

DUNNO why they kept Harju for two more games, he's been horrible. Olausson, Lundh.. meh. Last two games before we see a 'real' roster.

Omark - Persson - Zackrisson
Andersson - Lundqvist - Pettersson
Fasth - Rosén - Danielsson
Hjalmarsson - Harju - Bång

Hmm.. our team looks to be pretty underwhelming this year. Won't have any high expectations, unless some serious reinforcements were to arrive from NA. First line center would be nice.

Also stepped by the Canada roster thread.. yikes!

I'm comfortable with the winger Eriksson, Landeskog, Omark and Silfverberg will be solid in the top-6, but we desperatly need centers. Järnkrok can probably center the second line, but I don't think he is ready to be the first line center.

Hopefully one of Z, H. Sedin and Bäckström will join. Z is probably the most likely, he is healthy and haven't been available for WC for a while so he might be hungry. Bäckström is just back from a concussion, so he might be stopped by the Caps. Sedins have turned down a chance to join the NT several times in the past few years so I'm not holding my breath.

I believe Silfverberg won't join. From what I've read it will be NHL/AHL () for him, but I'm not 100%.
Omark.. we'll see how he does but hopefully he'll be really motivated after this season. Loui and Landeskog are great to have there.

You're right though, a quality center would do wonders but I have a hard time seeing any one of those three guys in the WC's. I'm hoping for Berglund if St Louis goes out. He was awesome last year after all.

Larsson should be back in the first round. Doubt the Devils would let him go if they're eliminated, though.

Don't worry. Their AHL team isn't making the playoffs and Ottawa making it past the 1st round would be a huge upset. And if Ottawa would complete that upset, we'd have Lundy and Hagelin to bring in instead.

It's the center spot that will be interesting. Finland has Mikko, Czechs have Plekanec and Canada has a plethora of good centers. We need something to match that.

Oh, I thought Bingo were in the playoffs, so that's nice. We could definitely use him, that's for sure.

Cant really see Ottawa winning against the Rangers, so I think Silfver will play in the WC, maybe with E.Karlsson?

Well obviously I don't want Detroit to get eliminated, but out of those I think the chances of Zetterberg saying yes would be pretty big. He's looked healthy all year and really found his legs again. He could take Kronwall and Ericsson with him to play with their brothers.. Let's hope for a snowball effect if many good players are eliminated in the first round.

Rangers - Senators

We'll either get Lundqvist or Karlsson, winner winner.

Rangers will beat Ottawa, that'll ensure Silfverberg's participation and hopefully also Karlsson's....even though he seems injured right now.

Alfie....perhaps, it'll be his last chance.

Is it Globen or Scandinavium next year? - jfc64! It's Globen. Jimmie & Jonathan ERICSSON Globe Arena.

PS. Viktor + Victor = Victory

Chances are better Nik's sons talk him into playing than Zetterberg is allowed to go here. Are Alfies sons into hockey?? No one would ***** about 30 year olds in case...on the other hand Hörnqvist scored 27 goals this season...Sedin - Sedin - Zetterberg is my dream line.

PS. Can Karlsson and Hedman play defense together or do we have better choices for defense pairings?

Edler will be a huge upgrade on the current D roster. He has not impressed this play-off but he is sure head wand shoulders better than what we got now if he plays his normal game.

I would be fine with that guy Henrik centering the first line.

In the meantime we have a change to the current roster (one that probably won't matter when it comes to the WC). Klefbom declines because of injury... Dahlbeck takes his spot for the games against the Swiss this week.
