I'd be shocked to see the Habs win. Who's there goalie again? Like Budaj or something?

i just hope grabo doesnt tries to be a hero and scores the game winner, just would be just epic but with our luck thats whats going to happen, good thing is habs are playing in their own barn, im sure they'll like win in front of their fans, they already have the 3rd overall locked

It's pretty much automatic, thats how things work for the Leafs. Any other team unlikly to happen, for the Leafs it'll happen pretty much for sure.

I'd rather drop from 4 to 5 but at the same time I can't cheer for my team to lose, just a fact that I must deal with on my end. So you cheer for us to lose for both of us, I suspect you're ok with that.

If they win, it will be the most meaningless win ever and the probably the most sickening.
Yea I know but thats the way I am. In the end nothing I do or feel is going to change what actually happens so it really doesn't matter.

We have a slim to none chance to go ahead of Edmonton... Budaj has been really solid recently. Cunneyworth wants to look good. They don't want to be booed at home, and some players are trying to reach some statistical goals (Cole). I think you can expect we'll play hard.

7th. Hopefully the Ducks win their game at 4 tmrw against Calgary. Then by the time the Leafs play ( and lose) the lowest we can go is 6th

If Kessel gets a hat trick, we're going to have a hard time losing...

Our best position is 1st, with winning the lottery. Since the chances are really low than yes, the best we can pick is 4th.

This. Would be very tough to get outplayed and boo'ed out of your last game of the season.

lol at tank nation. You guys are angry at the players for trying out there and winning some games!? You do realize that no pro hockey player will purposefully throw games? They are going to come out flying and probably win this one. Grabs loves playing against his former team, and with Price out, the chances of a Leafs win increases.

Get over it. If they win, great, they showed they have some pride. If they loose, they get to draft a little better. Either way, it's not going to change much overall. Burke will draft whomever they have at the spot they're in. Or, he'll attempt to move up if he thinks he can.

You guys stress way too much about all this.

I suggest a little bit of reverse psychology in the GDT title, something like "this game matters," or "the pressure is on." That'll ensure a loss.

You know, I just feel bad for you guys this season. As much as our season has been a complete disgrace, yours must have been much tougher to swallow. Being a lock for the playoffs a month ago only to fall out now must be heartbreaking.

So, in the spirit of goodwill... I will wish you the best tomorrow. May you win tomorrow night's game. I sincerely hope that finishing higher in the standings as a result of your victory gives you some comfort in these tough times.

It's not easy for me to wish you well, but I feel in the name of goodsportsmanship, if there's one game we can let youg guys win, it's tomorrow's contest.

Good luck.

In the past 2 seasons, the home team has lost this game.

Next season, I would like to open and close the season, against neither the Habs, nor the Sens. Won't happen though.

Problem is, it matters to lose. So leafs and habs will battle eachother trying to win in a legendary 142 round shootout. The game is not won, as a shot from thomas kaberle will be so hard it will shatter the puck and cause static interference in the war room in Toronto. The league will label it one of the most memborable games of all time. They will name a street after this game in Pheonix, and no one will drive on it. Montreal's new GM will say a speech, his opening line in billingual, saying how much he respects Toronto's hockey team and determination. The board of governors will have an impromptu meeting and announce that both organizations were tremendously classy and don't deserve to be put in the loser pile. We will be shifted from top 5 picks to 29th and 30th overall decided over a coin toss. The reasoning is to award us for our well fought battle and allow us to be winners for a change. Many leafs fans will parade, happy they won something, and montreal fans will riot, just because they know how. Next season, kaberle will start season in minors and be remembered as the man who failed killed two tanks with one stone.

That's how I think it will go down.
