Pentti Lund

Forget him he played 2 seasons. Thought it was possible even with the different countries.

Even though he is born in Denmark, it's still Scandinavia... So could it possibly be Poul Popiel, playing 3 games for the Bruins in the 1965-66 season?
if not, please PM me the right answer.

My stepdad was invited to a detroit redwings training camp, but got cut. Still impressive since he didn't start playing hockey until he was I think 12 and was pretty undersized.

Not a Scandinavian player. He was a Canadian, and played for the Bs in the 1940s. He was sort of a tough guy and got a lot of PIM.

I always get annoyed when people refer to AHLers or 4th liners as scrubs. To me, to get paid to play professional hockey.... any one of us would love to be their shoes.
As someone who was serious about playing the game growing up and didn't come close to getting drafted, I COMPLETELY AGREE. It's a major accomplishment. If I had ever got a draft letter (assuming there is such a thing) it would be framed and kept among my most cherished possessions.

Hat's off to him.

He is a sales manager of a prosthetic equipment company, if anyone cares to know. He still coaches little kids hockey on the side.
