A reminder for Canuck Nation as well as visiting Oiler fans...

2) Trolling: Do not post topics with the sole purpose of starting a dispute. Note that a person disagreeing with your opinion is NOT trolling; keep it civil, even if you're sure the other person is wrong. When visiting the team forums please note that they are fan forums for that team and are here mainly for the enjoyment of that team's fans. Do not visit team forums to cheer against or demean their team, or cheer for their opponent. In other words, if you want to cheer for the Habs and criticize the Bruins, do it on the Habs board. And if someone is doing the opposite on the Bruins board, don't start flaming them to defend the honor of your team. Either ignore it respectfully disagree and move on. Wishing illness or injury on someone will almost always be regarded as trolling or offensive. We do not permit any forums to be used to demean/insult the fans of other teams. That is considered trolling. Copying posts from one HFBoard team forum to another for this purpose is considered trolling.
Final game of the year.

I've got something a little different prepared for the Game 1 GDT.
Not San Jose/Photoshop levels of excellence, but a bit of a shift from the norm.

Hard not to. I'll be avidly watching the out of town scoreboard, and crossing everything I have that can be crossed that we avoid any injuries.

So is there any consensus on if we'd rather face Phoenix or San Jose?

Personally I want San Jose because we seem to be very good at exploiting Niemi and their defense.
Most want Phoenix.
Both are far better travel options than Chicago, thankfully.

And if I'm correct, both options would equal 7 p.m or later start times for all games. No having to rush home after work. Do want.

Phoenix, SJ, LA...all three will be a challenge. The benefit for us is the comparatively light travel schedule as opposed to teams like Central Division teams.

I`m at the Edmonton bus depot waiting for my ride home to Victoria right now. Seeing this city makes me feel even worse for Oiler`s fans. Anyway i`m going to be arriving in time for puck drop and couldn`t be more stoked. I expect a strong effort tomorrow to jumpstart us for a playoff push. 2012 playoffs! Better get it done this year because the world`s not supposed to be here the next.

Not quite. The Nucks need at least 1 more point, or a blues loss in their last game.

Just want to clarify, is there any word on who will be the goalie against Oilers? Is it official that Luongo will be between the pipes?

It's been implied the last two games, but nothing official.

Actually, it is. Luongo is starting this game per AV, Gillis, Schneider, Luongo, etc. All of them stated before the Calgary game that Schneider was getting that one and Luongo was getting this one.
