Looking very likely that a win in this game will clinch 1st in the West for Vancouver (St. Louis losing 4-1 to Phoenix with about five to go in the third tonight).

Eberle better not try any heroics. Might as well gO for first in the west. WoO!

I think the canucks willcome out strong for this game in support of luongo. He totally didn't deserve that after getting pulled and the team knows it. I expect a strong gamefrom luongo to shutup some of those whiners. Team better wake up and take the west.

Just. Win.

Edit: Looks like Phoenix is gonna win this one against St. Louis, which allows us to control our own destiny again in regards to winning the West.

I wonder if it'll be worse than whatever must be going on in the Blues' forum. Winless in last 4.

With a win or OTL, the Canucks will clinch 1st in the west. That should be motivation enough for the team to play hard; home ice will be very helpful if we do face the Blues at some point in the playoffs.

Get a point. Stay healthy. And after this game...

Sedins-Burrows
Amex
Raymond-Pahlsson-Hansen
Bitz-Lappiere-Kassian.
(Weise, Reinpracht, Ebbet...etc.)

Bieksa-Hamhuis
Edler-Salo
Ballard-Tanev/Rome. I like it.

Or if Blues lose their last game as well. It would be more hilarious if we lost tmr...this board would have a complete meltdown

The PP is what really worries me going into the playoffs...hopefully once Daniel returns that will give the PP a much needed boost.

Why would you want to break up Higgins-Pahlsson-Hansen?

Awesome, all we need is a point tomorrow, and we clinch the west. Even if we don't get a point, STL has to get the full 2 points to leap frog us, even then if we get a single point, we win the west.

Feels good man. Feels good.

As spectacular as that line is, if you can improve your second line, which has been utterly invisible without Higgins, then it's a tough call and I would probably put Higgins back up there. Booth and Kesler scoring and contributing is more important at this point in time. They have sucked balls.

True but Raymond doesn't seem to work very well on the Pahlsson-Hansen line. Maybe Lapierre would work with them? Hmm... I liked Raymond on the fourth line against the flames. He can play keep away from the other team making sure that they don't score and maybe scoring a couple on his own.

Keep higgins on the third line. They are amazing together. Let kesler and booth figure it out. Kesler likes to do things himself and carry a line so he will get a chance in the playoffs. I look for him to gofull beast mode once the playoffs start. Raymond brings down the third line too much.
