Haha, I just felt real old..

Go in to your 'User CP' where you change your avatar. You don't have to save it to your computer at all if you do not want to. You can just right click on the image and 'copy link location' then paste it in the box under the avatar change tab.

If you prefer to save it to your HD, just right click and 'save image as' and make sure it is a .gif file.

Then you can proceed to upload it to HFBoards via the avatar change section of your 'User CP.'
