Really love the 2009 conclusion video with City and Color. Not even just for the Penguin wins, the best part of these videos is the juxtaposition of the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. My favorite part of that video is Brodeur closing his eyes at "I'm afraid to sleep at night because of what haunts me". They mix those extremes of emotion with the history of the game, of old soldiers and the thorough exhaustion... That's why they work so well.

The cbc montages are always awesome. 2009 and 2010 were amazing. This is probably my favourite pre-game intro from the past few years though.

CBC does amazing playoff videos. Always a treat. The chance may never come again from the late 90's is classic though and will never be beat. Was just getting into following hockey and the Sens at the time and they had made their first two playoff appearances and that song just carries amazing nostalgia.

But the ones from the last few years have been extremely well done.

Can't wait to see what we get this week.
