Just look at who posted the DJ Shadow video.
I actually got kind of into the "Ode to the big sea" video.

It sure has changed a lot. But there is still a lot of EDM that resembles that. It's just a bit less popular or know as "underground". Indie, deep house fit that style.
I'm more of a progressive house fan.

Macklemore is a very distant third.
Kanye and Childish Gambino are geniuses.

I'm only going to ask once what's wrong with DJ Shadow, and if the answer is not to my liking, this will become a thing.

Good within it's genre for sure, just not my thing, I guess.
I tend to stray away from the overly "dance" stuff.

EDM has come a long way since '90's for sure. But wouldn't be possible without the artists that created that style.

The songs on their own aren't even great. This video combines all the music perfectly.
But I agree, it is really "dancy".

Rap blows.
I can talk fast and add a couple "*****es and hoes" every once and awhile.

Typical person who listens to one mainstream rap song then stereotypes the whole genre comment.

I wrote a rap once:
Rolling Down the Highway
In a Black Mercedes Benz
Looking out the window
While talking to my best friend
The guys are all jealous cuz' the ladies are a whistlin'
Whenever I talk I got the whole world listenin'
I'm B-Ferg I'm the King of the World
No one can stop me, not a guy not a girl
All the girls love me all the guys respect me
That's right you heard it I'm the king of the world.
B-Ferg, fwiw, is a male at my school. It was a rap for him to sing.
