They aren't similar. Phaneuf is a great player, just he'd be amazing with a top line d-man IMO. One of the best combos in league. Take a look at keith seabrook. You think of Phaneuf was paired with Keith he wouldn't be amazing as well?

Refs trying hard to kill our tank.

Lets give up another shorthanded goal and shove in their faces!

If Phil could work on his scoring in close he could pot 45 next year easily. It's by far the worst area of his scoring.

Yes because cheering for the Leafs to lose a meaningless game to benefit our future and herring for our bet player to tear an ACL is the EXACT same thing.

And about 30 points more in career high numbers. Come on, Habs suck, but Plekanec is worth the contract he has and his offense is much better.

Assuming we finish with the 5th pick and if we won we would have had the 7th or 8th then we should compare those players 3 years from now. Lets see which one is more sucsessful then. It could be the difference between a #1C and a #2C.

Trust me, my heart wants the Leafs to win, but my brain wants them to loose. And thankfully, my brain is smarter.

And since it's a "rivalry" meaningless game, I'm even more frightened that one goal = floodgates open.

One player, drafted high, does not a future make. When will you tankers realize this? When?

Am I stupid for liking Komisarek?

I know he sucks like **** but I still think he's a heart player, always looks out for his teammates, has the balls to fight Lucic again.

If he improves his play, I really wouldn't mind having him stick around for cheap..

No but it's a good addition to the team.
