He's from Denmark, not Sweden.

Tsk, tsk.

Fail Dallas Stars' PR guy, actually, since that's a release from the team itself.

Are Skarstins and Niskanen both hurt from last game? Or is just a precasion (sp lol).

If so they should call up Blindenbacher up to.

I would argue he's played well but he needs to spend a year or two training to get some weight on his frame. He's been consistently obliterated in the corners.

He has a lot of positives but also needs a little seasoning. Weight/muscle is going to be a big factor (he's a stick!), and he needs to stop telegraphing what he's about to do quite as obviously. But he's performed well and will be good consistent contributor in a year or so.

He had 1 a +2 last night. Do you think he will get more games, or will he be sent down again?

I hold my breath whenever he's defending in the zone. He seems (to my hockey novice eyes) to lose coverage quite a lot.

Likely (and properly) sent down when the Stars' defense gets healthy.

He's got great talent but is still raw and, more importantly, still lacking in muscle mass. Needs protein shakes and for some Austin Stars fan to show him the wonders of Tex-Mex food.

Plus he has a two-way contract and none of the other D do.

He may look thin and weak but his quite strong and agile, and I think he could handle the defence quite well once hes gotten a few games getting to know the league. That was when he first arrived in Sweden to play junior hockey, and when he took the step up to the SEL; You think how on earth will he survive out there, but fifteen games later he is handling the opposing forwards like a five year veteran.

Because everyone on the Sens either sucks or didn't want to go.

EK65 is tiny. Larsen sized.

He plays on a different level than Larsen, no disrespect to Larsen. As for the All-Star selection, he is the only player on the Sens having a good season and will certainly fit in with the All-Star crowd.

Hi guys,

Could anyone please say a few words on Larsen's first (more or less) full season in the NHL? I haven't been able to follow him much due to the time difference and all. I'd surely appreciate it :-)

Thanks

He's our best defenseman.

He's smart, he's got good instincts, and for a little guy, he's not afraid of physicality. Very impressive.
