Well it does suck to lose at home final game, especially since no post. But hey we saw how good Dillon is and we can all hope he is on the roster next season.
can't comment on the game since I didn't watch it - was out with the family - but it looks to me like the Stars played with some pride and atleast gave the home team a good show even if the Blues were a bit too much for them in the end.

Well here's to better times next year.
They came out to play, but St. Louis is a tough nut to crack when you're lacking a system that can beat a Hitchcock team... also our PP sucks.
I'm ready for more of this pairing. Smith will be kicking himself all off season about that missed chance.
Goligoski-Benn
Larsen-Fistric
Daley-Dillion
If they don't bring in someone or trade for someone that's what I want to see next year. It won't be great but they'll be mobile, throw the body, able to jump up in the offensive zone, and might actually be able to transition out of their own zone with some competence.
Glennie and Smith could probably do with some more time in the minors but I hope getting some prime minutes showed them what they need to work on, encourages them to bust their ***** to try to make the team next year.
Ryan Garbutt can fill a legit hole on the 4th line. Passion, speed, forechecking, and he actually knows to stop in front of the net to knock in a rebound. Please allow him to spell the end of Peterson, Dowell, and Burish's time here.
