It will be a 7 game affair with Kings winning 3 double overtime games 1-0 and Blues winning 4 double overtime games 1-0. I think Blues have better system/coaching as well as two strong goalies, while Kings only have Quick and no offence.

I've watched the Blues a few times and somehow I'm not that impressed. They are a good team but I'm surprised they have such a good record.

Last night I've watched them vs the Coyotes again. It was awful. They are both known for their defensive style of play but I've seen so many odd man rushes (mostly Phoenix), its was ridiculous.

The Blues have a few good stickhandlers, who can dismantle our defense and organisation, but if the Kings can keep them in control than I think we can beat them. The Blues must stick to their game plan. Well the Kings too but I think we have more offensive power (how odd that may sound).

I love the idea of this series

too bad the Blues aren't in the Pacific time zone too but I have a hard time falling asleep at night and the games in LA will be PERFECT for that

It's the immovable object versus...the immovable object!

Wouldn't that be exciting?

The Blues aren't as good as their point totals/goal differential indicate, simply because you can only play one goalie at a time.

That being said, they're still a better team than LA.

To be honest...Blues fans haven't been real impressed with the play of their club over the last month. It's almost like they clinched the Central and took their foot off the gas. However, when the team is playing desperate and 'scared' (their own words) they're probably the toughest team in the league to play against.

It's a matter of whether they can find their game of Jan-Feb when the playoffs start. If they can, I'd expect them to advance rather easily in 5 or 6...but if they play like they've been playing since March 13th when the playoffs begin, they'll be out again in the first round in 6 or 7 games.

If I were a betting man, I'd say they pull it together again and win in 5.

I would say Blues in 5. Disagree with anyone thinking the series would be boring, low scoring, yes, but not boring.

Blues, but it'll probably take at least 6, if not 7. I think that you never know in the playoffs; not all games would necessarily be a "scoreless bore".

A--greed.

Probably go like this:

Kings win game 1.
Blues take game 2.
Blues take game 3.
Kings take game 4, 5 and 6.

I expect many 1 goal endings.
