if the Yotes get a point, don't they clinch the division?

oh, damn... I don't think there is one. Randy & Drew mentioned it in the last broadcast - I don't think they mentioned a low-def option. Might need to call them...

So what you're saying is there will probably be 2 penalties called all game?

Blues have looked bad off late. 3-4-3 in their last 10.
Nucks have been pretty good. 7-2-1 in their last 10.
Chicago looked good today and they are 6-1-3 over their last 10.

Still do not know who we match up against best here. Guess no more speculating after tonight.

LA are an excellent team. Their offense just put up 5 goals, and they have a quality goal keeper.

Sharks 11, Kings 1

Someone posted earlier and said that Cooch shouldn't get control of the iPod in the dressing room because he would put on Drake and other melo tunes. I propose giving iPod control to Douglas Murray so they'll listen to Slipknot or something.

Not quite. The Yotes, in that scenario, would have 35 ROW and 96 points. The Sharks could not get the division in that case, as their max is 96 points and their max ROW would be 34.

However, the KINGS have 34 ROW and a max of 96 points, meaning a win over the Sharks in regulation or overtime would see the Kings and 'Yotes tied in points and ROW, and the head-to-head series went to the Kings, so they would win the Pacific in that case.

A shootout win for the Kings, however, would give the Pacific to the 'Yotes on the ROW tiebreaker.

Doug Murray likes Euro trash club music. Dan Boyle is the one that likes bands like Slipknot.

Survived the drive up here, though I was tempted to play the stick on some Kings fans as I passed them on the 5. I resisted temptation however so I could make the game and not sit in jail somewhere in Central California. Hoping the Sharks beat the Kings - just want to see a freaking win for once! Will make the drive back a lot more enjoyable. (And yes, it is all about me )

Actually i heard no they won' t sine we hold the tie breaker. We need to win in regulation. And phx needs to lose. if they do get a point they can only get one. if they get the bonus point then yes they clinch.

OOPS i was wrong.

If Phoenix wins in regulation, OT or a shootout, then the best the Sharks can do is seventh, with a win over the Kings. If the Coyotes lose to Minnesota in OT or a shootout and the Sharks beat the Kings, then San Jose is the seventh seed based on the ROW tiebreaker. If the Coyotes lose to the Wild in regulation, then the Sharks can win the Pacific with a victory over the Kings; with a loss, they'd be the No. 8 seed.

Sigh... So the same thing that happened last game will happen again? Makes no sense how the only games I DON'T get are the final 2 of the season...

Hopefully I can watch on NBC S, since it doesn't usually black out for me.

I don't know the actual name for that type of music, since it's not just club music. I've always heard it referred to as Euro trash so I thought that was the genre.

Slopknot??? What he is sweedish man... Opeth, Arch Enemy, At the Gates, In Flames (old school), and ect

If Murray is into metal he is into Gothenburg style Melodic death metal and would likely laugh at the mere mention of a group of sound sampling hacks like Slipknot. Seriously is Slipknot capable of putting together a guitar solo?
