Watching the game and watching the Ten Commandments I sort of feel like going to Wang and saying "Let my Team Go"

God will curse you with many signs until you Let them go!

1 - you will give a Russian all the riches and he will never score

2 - Your goalie's body will break down year in and year out

3 - asbestos will kill the first fan of every household

4 - A Massive flood will occur in your arena locker rooms

Disagree wholeheartidly. How many games wad the excuse given 'we were flat' our 'we just didn't show up'? They should be embarrassed by this season considering the expectations of the playoffs at the beginning of the year.

I feel bad for all of you who bought season ticket plans after the hype of last year

don't feel bad, I enjoyed it immensely..no regrets.. cancelled my jet tix last week and upped my islander season tix from 2 to 6 next year... i love hockey and this team, win or lose although winning would be nicer... there was plenty to enjoy and i look forward to enjoying the games next season with friends and family... i would still rather go to an islander game than any other pro sports game in Ny which i assume makes me a die hard fan.

i do feel bad for all the haters and pessimists here.. we all feel the pain, but with 20 years of futility the culture here needs an attitude adjustment... sports to me is all about enjoyment and optimism.. if i was miserable, i would stop watching, i get enough of that at work and in daily life...

hope you all enjoy the offseason.. recharge your batteries and are ready for next year in the fall.. i keep telling myself, there is only one way to go.. and most of our recent picks still have huge upside or still are developing in the minors..

and i didn't drink or take any controlled substances.. go figure.. and with the 4th pick, the NY islanders take Murray...

Rough game. Just finished the DVR, I don't even know why I watched the full game. Like someone else said, it was a fitting way to end the season. Very disappointing year, excluding some positive strides.

On another note, it was good to see Grabs get his 20th. I'm happy to see that.

I'm glad that we lost this game. Atleast we'll get a lottery pick.

What do you expect them to say?

"We suck" ?

That is the way the players frame it in their mind in order to compete. I know it gets old as a fan but every team's players say "we were flat" that when the team loses. The other teams have better players that control the flow of the game and possession of the puck which makes it look like the inferior team isn't playing hard. In reality the team without the puck has to work much harder.

Exactly. The team would have shot itself in the foot winning this game. I just wish Comcast would have let me see Jiggs and the Isles broadcast for this last game.

Me too, losing helps this franchise more than winning for the past 5 years in February and March. Its sad when you think just how bad this franchise has been under Snow and how some fans still blindly defend him.
