Holy crap, if Datysuk scores there, that becomes one of the sickest SO goals ever.

Sick goal by Kane, though.

Hawks win.

Even though this season has sucked, I am sad like always that its over.

I have my other teams, its Yankees baseball time, but the Isles are my first love! My heart breaks everytime the team plays it's final game. I get angry too.

Anyway, like a glutton for punishment I am with this team no matter what and I hope that this group of CLOWNS do the right thing and turn things around. Its been a crazy/fun season. I know we will all linger throughout the playoffs and at Draft time, but for those who dont, have a great summer and hopefully next season is ours! We deserve it! GO ISLANDERS!!

Thanks for that, my sentiments exactly. Thank you for also saving me from coming up with my own little spiel so I'm just +1ing yours.

Also, I almost just fainted as I was checking the Center Ice schedule... it looks like the Isles/CBJ game is supposed to be on the ONLY HD station in my area. I pray to the heavens that this is true.

I'd like for the isles to get at least 1 point today. Getting 80 or 81 points just looks better than 79 lol. And, i really want to finish above Toronto cause i got a few Toronto fans that bet me that they'd finish above the Isles.

I can totally relate. Hockey is by far my favorite sport and the Islanders my favorite team. I'm a Yankee fan as well, but I don't really feel ready to get into baseball season (apparently Mariano Rivera didn't feel ready either based on yesterday's performance) quite yet.

We still have the Rangers and Penguins to root against and I've become a bit of a Coyote fan due to their "situation". The Yotes have been unaware of where they might be, come the following season and yet they still manage to ice a pretty good team. As an Islander fan, I can relate to a fan base whose team might end up leaving and they don't have the money to spend that big market teams do.

The Islander game is scheduled on HD on my provider (Time Warner) as well, so I think it's true.

Homey don't play that!

Anaheim lost so we'll be drafting our customary 5th spot.

Who cares at this point. Play the 4th line 25 minutes tonight. With the Ducks win, The Wild playing Phx, Leafs playing Montreal, this doesn't look good for keeping the 4th pick. Yeah, they will close it out in style tonight like the last few meaningless years. Big win and drop back a few picks and everyone at the draft party will say, "we were so close to getting that guy".

I know these guys are trying—if you can believe that—but now that the play-off are out of the question, it's time for these guys to start working on their golf swings.

Damn, I am just not in the mood for this game. Watching the Caps spank the Rangers, it's 2-0 already, 3 minutes in.

I don't have center ice, so I hope that NBC Sports(old Versus) carries the Flyers/Penguins series. I am looking forward to seeing that series. It's going to be a physical, bitter mean series.

I love Jiggs and all, and I know Howie's got the Mets, but really? Can't even do the last game? Come on.

As expected, the HD feed for the game is not working on my Center Ice. I am now forced to watch the Columbus feed in SD.

came on for the sole reason to thank Law and all you people who stuck on board with this team all year. Hope the board remains semi active throughout the playoffs and up to the draft...

Why are Streit, Staios, and Reese on the ice at the same time?

Instead of shortening the FW lines we are going with the mantra "everyone plays!"
