Finish the season out on a positive note. Let's carry the positivity onto 2012-13 season with a great offseason.

He does have a nasty shot.. but have you seen the toe curve on his stick? It looks like something you would use for Jai Alai

I hope I am wrong, cause that's not cool
We booed him all game... but he got a 2 - 3 minute standing ovation after he scored. No one wants to be the team or person that gives up the milestone goal. But once it happened the Jets fans cheered for a great Canadian player who accomplished something pretty remarkable in today's NHL. Outside of scoring at home I don't think he could have gotten a better reception for the goal in any other rink.

Winnipeg fans booing someone is a total sign of respect. We're trying to get he best player on a team to think about the crowd and less about the game. Fact is if you're a visiting player in WPG and you're getting booed that means you're a pretty damn good player. So it's actually a badge of honor.

We should have been booing Purcell he was the reason the Bolts won. Every time he got the puck... boom! Slater's goal to tie was almost as good as winning (not quite).

Looking forward to 6 more games against TB next year.

Good luck in your off season.
Let's hope there is no delay to the start of the 2012 - 2013 season.

I'm so sick of hearing about Winnipeg's crowd. Give it a few playoffs-less years.

As per my usual yearly tradition, I'd like to thank all you guys on here for making the year so enjoyable, even if the on ice product was all over the place at times, and ultimately disappointing.

The sometimes combative nature of sharing ideas has shaped the groupthink, and I feel the team's future itself, will be better off for us having debated it all.

Just thought this was rather amusing.

*insert u mad picture here*
They deleted my posts refuting the claim that Stamkos is nothing without MSL. I think it was my "haters gon' hate" picture that put them over the edge. Truth hurts.

(Funny how they chose a picture with our 3rd jerseys with the old logo on the shoulder, tho.)

Like FP I would also like to thank everyone for surviving the saeson. It's always cool seeing so many of you guys hanging around the GDTs and through the rest of our forum. I enjoy seeing our group here grow a little bit each year. It was a hard season to watch after our 2011 run, but you guys make this one of the the best places to talk bolt hockey.

Thanks everyone and Happy Easter!
