It's bold play-off prediction not obvious play-off prediction.

OK here's my bold prediction: After the 1st round of the playoffs is complete, the Nashville Predators will be the highest remaining seed in the West.

I'd be on board with this, but i think st. louis can pull it off vs the sharks. dont think they'll move beyond the 2nd, but i think they can take round 1.

I don't see how the Nucks will lose the series against the Kings

I agree that they probably will win. It's not even close to a 'no way' scenario though. Vancouver isn't as good as they were the last couple years IMO.

I agree, but I don't see it happening. I see the Blues and Yotes losing as the higher seed against the proven PO teams that have won in the POs in the last few years. I don't see this in the VAN series - I would like it

two words : Jon Quick
when Luongo goes up against a goalie standing on his head, it makes all his soft goals given up stand out that much more.
I think Quick outplays Luongo and leads the Kings past the Nucks...in 7 games

Goalie alone will not win this series. Unless anze and Richards play over their heads, there is no chance that the Nucks will lose this series
As much as we hate him, Luongo is a great goalie and could win this series too

Don't forget, Daniel Sedin isn't playing tonight, so I'd consider his status through the series a question mark. That's big also.

I will put some vcash up on this series with ya???
I hate the Canucks, but I do like the Kings matching up with them.
The Kings offense is much improved with Richards and Carter together...I think they give Luongo fits personally..
and like I said, if Quick stands on his head, Luongo buckles under the pressure more times then naught..and lets in some softies.

I predict the playoffs are about to start. That's all anyone really knows at this point and is the beauty of NHL hockey.

Actually I was thinking even bigger. Morrison may just surprise, and if he does well early in the series, you know Q will keep paying him.
So my bold prediction is Morrison will have a good playoff series and may be Q's 2nd center before it is said and done.

Luongo hasnt been the Nucks fault, but Quick has been the Kings backbone...
as I said Quick will steal this series, and he has so far
