Glennie with 89 goals, 196 assists and a 265 save shutout. At the same time he takes the lead at the Master's while striking Pujols out 5 times.
Grab your popcorn boys and girls, The Glennie era in the NHL starts tonight. After tonight it will no longer be known as the NHL, it will forever be changed to the NGL. The national Glennie league. I just hope the Blues can survive the The Scott tonight!
LGB!
I guess I missed the birth of this meme. Apparently it involves copying and pasting Scott Glennie into old Chuck Norris jokes.
It's so frustrating that the Blues couldn't win one of these last four games. Had they won a single one of these games, or even one of the four consecutive shootouts they lost, they'd have already clinched on Pittsburgh and a win tonight would get them over the Rangers, who are going to lose to Washington down 3-0. Had they won last night, tonight they'd be playing for first place overall. Just really, really frustrating.

I agree, but then I think about last year and I'm all smiles again.
Bad news in the Blues are guaranteed to lose with Glennie in the Stars lineup. The good news is I picked him up for my fantasy team and now I'll make an epic 300 point comeback after tonight.
Saw that backdoor developing, and it was painful to watch. Three Blues all watching the guy in the far corner and drifting towards him...nobody watching the back door at all. Poor, poor, poor play.
This team is just playing so mediocre. I think more than anything they haven't got an extra gear yet. Other teams have ramped up their intensity and the Blues got comfortable.
Terrible shift by Russell with a turnover and a stupid penalty.
Bernie thinks Hitch doesn't get enough credit. He's the ONLY one who gets credit on HFBoards lol
Haha, I caught that too, I was like "Whaaaaa..?" During the winter months I'd wear my Blues hoodie in to work and occasionally somebody on the elevator would make a comment on how great they hear the Blues are doing ever since they hired "that new coach". Even among the super-casual "fans" Hitchcock is getting attention.
So what's up with all of these penalties we've been getting lately? I remember when we had a really disciplined team not too long ago and we barely got any penalties. Are our players really slipping up that much now?
The amount of penalties this team has been taking recently is just unreal. Bad calls or stupid rules or not...just unreal. It's gonna kill them if it keeps up next week
