Essentially the same Hurricane team that showed up for game 82 last year.

Florida's a deceivingly long state. Lesson of the game here, folks, by none other than the talented Mr. Tracy.

Florida is fragile. We need a goal to get things turned around.

We need a chance, by someone other than Joslin, before we can worry about goal.

I beat you to it by about 2 minutes.

That said, I'm surprised that Dubinchuk didn't beat me by a minute or so.

Did Pitkanen change positions because he's been playing more like a forward than a defenseman.

Oh, I knew you beat me to it. I just wanted to re-emphasize the truth to that statement.

In other news, over at the national championship game, it's fantastic to hear Gary Thorne calling a live hockey game again.

It looks like it's confusing Welsh quite a bit...

That it is, Gary Thorne and Bill Clement are maybe the best big game announcing duo for hockey. Barry Melrose isn't too bad either.

Thorne calls the NCAA tournament games for ESPN every year.

I actually like Joe Beninati a lot when he does college lacrosse. A bit OT, but since we're discussing announcing college sports...

Beninati is probably my favorite announcer in the league. I like Rosen a lot too.

Jack Edwards is my favorite
If you ever need something to make you laugh, just listen to one of his broadcasts.

That would have been a very intimidating car ride for my first day in the NHL.
