One just directed more pucks towards the net.

Also, good job refs. Miss a blatant high stick and two borderline boarding calls and call a little tap on the back. I realize that this is Ben Eager that we're talking about but that's a ******** call.

I haven't listened to Simpson call games very much over the past year but it's safe to say that he's been totally infected by the Canucks disease. Occasionally, he displays his orange and blue colours but for the most part it's "Ra ra the Canucks are amazing."

TAKE THAT, BEN EAGER!

I think the real question is why are you reading their boards?

Because they're in the defensive zone.

Canucks think they're tough when playing the Oilers. They take advantage of Renney's passive game, so credit to them but Boston and other real tough teams make the Canucks their *****.

I am at the game right now about 15 feet from Dubnyk. Kid's rebound control is iffy but he's made some dece stops. Also, watching Horcoff's line play hockey makes me want to cry. Dudes look old as HELL. Always surprised by how slow the game looks from ice level.

Also, this 8 dollar beer sucks. Numbs the pain pretty good though.

This statement encapsulates the year. I can't wait for Renney to be gone.

Just to see what they thought about the one sided reffing.

Team mentality. Small fight in this team.

Dallas loses. Calgary officially finishes 9th.

EDIT: I guess the Avs have to lose too. They're down 5-1 currently.

Is he retiring for sure? He seemed pretty adamant about giving it another go about a month ago.

Nice couple of non calls there, I am so sick and tired of reffing, hopefully we can aim for them on clearing attempts.

Haha, even Brownlee's miffed at the officials.

Horcoff gets teeth loosened by Salo highstick. VandeVelde cut mouth after his face bounced off dasher. No calls. Brutal officiating.

Nice to see him get a win. One of my all-time favourites. I'll never forget that spring and the ridiculous goaltending he gave us.

The league doesn't want us gooning it up or making teams pay for their BS.

Are Mike Gillis & Jay Feaster related? I swear, put a pair of creeper glasses on Gillis and it's the same dude.

Stamkos hits 60 goals and Roloson gets the game puck? Pretty fishy to me.

Agreed. The guy was always a warrior and played hard for us.

Just once I'd wish Renney would send out a goon line.

The Oilers are supposed to know their place in this league and assume the fetal position.
