I think our Playoff Avatars should be Milbury.

3 goal leads haven't been favorable of late. We'll see.

Put Sabourin in for the 2nd and see what happens.

Still prefer they win just because winning the SE would be the most hilarious thing to happen in the NHL in years.

Backstrom with the secondary. First point since the concussion and manages to stay at a point/game for his career.

I thought Johansson had the secondary?

He did, as long as it stays Carlson's goal (which it should).

Wouldn't mind a different opponent, just for variety's sake.

That said, I do think the Rangers are a much better team than any NYR team the Caps have faced in the postseason in recent years.

None of the Devils, Bruins or Rangers is a particularly favorable matchup if you go by the full season. Better to reset the clock, I guess. Hopefully that is what they are doing now. Game 81 should be a relief in that sense. None of the last four months matters anymore. All it does it get you in.

I don't have a favourite team in the nhl, I just want to watch the best players in the world. So, that being clear I thought I can make an observation.

At around ~3 minutes Prust beats Green in a foot race. That's worrying, really worrying. I like Green, he was terrific couple of years ago and I thought that he's just coming back from an injury. But getting beat by Prust, that's a real worry for Green and Capitals fans. Hope he gets back, he was fantastic to watch at his best.

Nope. Lundqvist is just in playoff mode.

Micheletti said something to the effect that the Caps wanted to move their extra first for more offense? I never have game sound up much.

Claims GMGM wanted to move a 1st for an offensive player during the season but could never get it done.
