Capping off the year Flames Vs. Ducks

Never got to make a GDT so I figured the last game of the season was a good opportunity.

Curtis Glencross-Olli Jokinen-Jarome Iginla
Mike Cammalleri-Ragin' Stajan-Akim Aliu
Blake Comeau-Blair Jones-Lee Stempniak
Tom Kostopoulos-Lance Bouma-Tim Jackman

Jay Bouwmeester-Chris Butler
Mark Giordano-Cory Sarich
Anton Babchuk-Scott Hannan

Henrik Karlsson

Niklas Hagman-Ryan Getzlaf-Corey Perry
Andrew Cogliano-Saku Koivu-Teemu Selanne
Bobby Ryan-Nick Bonino-Devante Smith-Pelly
Jason Blake-Rod Pelley-George Parros

Francois Beauchemin-Cam Fowler
Luca Sbisa-Lubomir Visnovsky
Toni Lydman-Sheldon Brookbank

Jonas Hiller

Let's give Karlsson his first win of the season!

If we win we can finish as high as 17th in the league and if we lose we can finish as low as 20th. GFG!

#Karlsson in goal for the #Flames talking yesterday says he's wants to end his season on a positive, has not won since Jan 21, 2011 vs. Dal

I'm hoping for a win so Karlsson can get his 1st win of the season and the Flames can finish with 90 or more points for a 3rd consecutive season.

Probably is Sarich's last game as a Flame. Not sure if Jokinen will be resigned. Moss, TKO and Hannan will probably not be resigned either. Crazy.

Sven with 0.6 goals per game. Aliu with 0.5 goals per game and officially PPG. Bare cupboards? Suck it, HF!

Haha the cupboards will look pretty bare next year when half of them will be brought up to fill the big team roster

But with Aliu's 41 goals and Sven's 49 will we care?

Note to management: address the powerplay in the off-season. Terrible.

I am loving Aliu. This team has been missing an intimidating presence, a player that'll knock you on your ass one shift, pound your face the next, and then score a goal the one after that.

Reminds me of Iggy early in his career but with much less talent obviously.

I don't get how that's a penalty though... what was Giordano supposed to do?

I'll admit it was kind of a fluke goal, but good for him. If the puck made it to Cammy's stick it most likely would have been in the back of the net and he would have 2 points regardless. Really like the way this kid plays and I'm rooting for him. If he pans out he will be a good piece, he can do the dirty work while Sven and the skills guys bring the flash.

PS - As I write this Giordano is getting sent to the box for the biggest bulls**t ever
