I'm not joining the Emery hatewagon, but as for Stan. There were many players available last summer - either via free agency or via trade. Look how Florida reworked their team nearly from top to bottom and then went out and won their division. I was so wrong there. Florida was my pre-season pick to win the Fail for Nail campaign.
Tallon overpaid for almost every FA he signed. I wouldn't have signed any of those to that price

Tomas Fleischmann worked out. 4.5M is a little high, maybe half a million but he's well worth the 4M IMO. Extremely talented and the only issue with him the past few years has been health due to his blood clotting issue, but he played 82 games this year so I think you can score that one as a win for Tallon. Had I known we would do nothing, I'd have been happy with that signing. He can play center too. I take him over Roy and that's without even considering you'd have to pay big in trade for Roy and would have to resign him to a higher contract very soon.
As long as Crawford bounces back, I don't think this is too big of a deal. Would've preferred to err on the safe side but like said above, I think the organization is showing huge faith in Crawford that he'll rebound next year.

he overpaid all the UFAs he signed. that's all you need to know. Some will work out, some won't. In the end, all knew that he had to spend money
