So when the Avs pick up that puck moving defenseman they need, they'll stop shooting pucks high, wide, and into the goalies chest? Sorry, but this teams biggest problem this year wasn't getting chances most games. It was finishing them. This isn't something a PMD is going to help with in most cases.

Our forwards are also at blame, but it was noticeable that we were missing a guy like Liles all year. We had nobody (save EJ) who could cary the puck, and as a result our offence took a hit. At the same time, this team clearly lacks another top 6 forward and could use a true sniper unlike another ROR, Downie type.
Hejduk disappearing didn't help either seeing as he was probably our only sniper on the team.

yeah as ridiculous as it was he got away with it, i thought it was funny, however helps washington and their pick(from us).
This will be the first (and last I guess) GDT in a while. Really hope the Avs just tear it up tonight, get everyone excited for next year.
i already am, and i'm hoping that the avs will have a rising season similar to the blues, not expecting first in the conference, but a force and out of the playoff race in a playoff position a couple weeks before the end of the season.

I think that if he is given a contract extension and the Avs don't do anything substantial in the UFA market, then it is a clear sign that KSE is going to just let this play out, and try to get as much money as they can with the least amount of support.
