That's pretty much it, however, I'm fine with anything as long as Vancouver, Pittsburgh, Detroit and New Jersey are NOT succesful (meaning I don't want any of them to, say, make it to the Finals)
Anyone but Vancouver (obvious reasons), St Louis (because I couldn't stand to see that lazy piece of garbage Stewart or Elliott get a cup) or Detroit (obvious reasons).
I'm glad I'm not the only weirdo who thinks like that.
"If Nashville wins, Suter will go back to the Stanley Cup champs"
"But if Nashville doesn't win, Suter will want to move on and we have a chance"
Even though I know we probably won't get him anyways.
I'm with you guys. I want them to get swept in the first round.
I wont be cheering for anyone in the west.
It would be good for PHX to go far, just to prove that the team needs to be relocated.
The Caps are my 2nd favorite team, so I actually dont mine trading with them.
I would also like to see Philly do something after the crazy summer they had.
To all of my friends who are avalanche fans. When was the last time they were crowned regular season champions in back to back seasons ? That's right never. You may have your stanley cups. But playoffs are just another season
We may just have our two stanley cups? Oh the horror! How will we live! We may as well disband if we don't have consecutive regular season championships that basically mean nothing!
I'd be happy for any of Nashville, St. Louis, Washington, Phoenix, Florida or Detroit winning (Detroit being the lowest though cause they've won the Cup recently)
Am I the only one a little shocked at the fact that the Canucks won the President's Trophy? It seemed like there were so many much better teams this year than them...maybe because they were so much better last year and won it in much better fashion. This year they definitely only won it because they had the NW to beat on, that's for sure.
So does this mean the Avs have won 4 seasons (REG 1996-97, 2000-01; POST 1995-96, 2000-01) and the Canucks have won 2 seasons (REG 2010-11, 2011-12)? Some holes in their logic.
